How I Declutter My Home For The New Year!

table-white-home-interior (1)I like to declutter my environment at least 4 times a year. I like to declutter around the changing of the seasons. I will declutter a week before or after the new year, in the spring time, summer time, and in the fall. I believe every season brings new changes and new revelations.

I love reflecting over my life and my goals in each season. I am always listening inwardly to hear if the Holy Spirit wants to reveal important information to me. I also love changing out my fashion style with what I call, “my colors for the season.” I will write another blog post about how I invested in a fashion and style coach, “The Brown Closet” but for now, click the link to pay The Brown Closet a visit.

There is something about the New Year that makes me want to hit the reset button and start all over again. I love having systems in place in my home and decluttering is one of the systems I use to keep things organized. It always make me feel like I have a new start.pexels-photo-110215This year thou, I feel different. I don’t know how to explain it but it feels like a major shift has taken place in my heart. My New Year’s theme is a “New Year, a New You.” A part of that is really being intentional about changing some bad habits I had in 2017. Like being on time to scheduled appointments. I have 5 people that I am responsible for. I have to make sure they have what they need before we walk out of the door and I did not include myself in that number. I used this as an excuse to not be on time to places. But this year, I am going to intentionally put a plan in place to help me get to places on time. I will give myself lots of grace if things comes up that are out of my control.

This year I am decluttering my schedule, my time and my focus so that I will have breakthrough success. When I do my seasonal decluttering, I have items on my list that can never take a back seat to be decluttered, because if these things are not monitored, they can get out of control. These items are papers, clothes, shoes, toys and homeschool materials. Some people never get rid of things in their environment and it just accumulates.

I have 4 children all under the age of 12, it is challenging to keep things organized. My household includes 6 people. That is six people with things, stuff and items living in one environment. Imagine with me for a moment, if I never got rid of things from the time I got married and gave birth to my children, up until date, that would be 17 years of accumulation in a 1240 square foot of living space. The results would be stifling!books-1617327_1920I use to have 3 bookshelves but now I have just one. I got rid of the other ones because I want to live a more simpler and intentional lifestyle. The less you have in your environment, the less you have to clean and maintain the upkeep of it all. The less you have in your environment, the bigger your space feels.

I can only read one book at a time. I realize when I am done reading a book, I rarely go back to read it again. If I want a book, I can just check it out at my local library. The same goes for my children.

Unless you have someone that comes in and clean your home, what I found out is that, moms are always trying to stay on top of the cleaning, laundry, cooking, schedules and trying to keep things orderly. A lot of times we moms get frustrated and overwhelmed because we are trying to maintain the upkeep of the things we are constantly bringing in our homes for our families. It is exhausting to keep cleaning up the same old things you’ve just cleaned up 2 hours ago.

When I get disorganized, the things I instantly want to tackle are the dishes, paper/trash, clothes, shoes, toys, laundry and homeschool materials. I have to constantly stay on top of those (1)When I tackle my seasonal decluttering, I make sure to get every single detail. I clean out every cabinet, every closet, I get rid of any clothes that have stains, rips and are too small. I get rid of furniture that is broken and is not working for the space. I get rid of any appliances that are broken and dishes that are chipped. I get rid of shoes that are to little and worn out. I declutter homeschool material and papers, I clean out every drawer, I declutter linen, I get rid of toys that my children have lost interest in and are broken. I declutter medicine, I declutter food that is in the cabinets and refrigerator that have expired. I declutter books and I wipe down and clean everything; walls, doors, ceiling fans, light fixtures, carpet, furniture and floors.

I use to have a beautiful glass coffee and end table, glass vases, and the pretty decorative balls that sit on the coffee table but when I started having kids it was too much work to monitor it all and keep the glass mark free. I had to redefine my style of decor because the season had changed in my life. I remember trying to hold on to those glass tables because thy were one of a kind and we paid a lot of money for them, but my husband was adamant about letting them go after one of my children bumped their face on the glass. Those items were not working for us anymore.

Sometimes we try to hold on to seasons that have come and is now gone and God wants to do something new with our lives. If we are too attached to things and if our identity is wrapped up in them, we can become stuck in a formal season.

I would love to hear about ways you keep your life decluttered. Leave a comment. Follow me on social media by clicking the links down below. To follow me on Instagram click here.

Getting Back to the Heart of Things!

This blog post is about my journey back to being grateful and taking control of my life. I was feeling like I needed to bring more balance and order in my life.

I am a Christian, wife, mother and I took on the task of being responsible for my kids education. Yes, I also homeschool my kids.

I am a woman who have dreams and a purpose and I started to pursue them as well. I am a self published Christian author. I’ve written 3 books,“Dare To Dream Big”, “25 Attitude “You Must Have for a Breakthrough” and “Extraordinary Single Lady”.

I am a certified Christian life coach, speaker and blogger. I have a lot on my plate, but I love it. I love that I have found out what God created me to do and that is to partner with him to see his daughters made whole in every area of their lives. But I have an evening greater calling, and that is to be a wife to Overere and a mom to Erica, Faith, Victoria, Blessing and Wisdom. I am also called to be Destine’s GeeGee. I am not ready to be called a grandmother yet, so I told my granddaughter to call me GeeGee.

In life, there will be a lot of things pulling for your time and attention but you have to know what is the most important in your life. For me, God is most important, then myself and then my family in that order and then everything else comes after that.

Myself after God because I am no good to anyone if I do not take care of myself first. I need to always be giving back to me, so I can give back to others that have been entrusted to me.

Some of my favorite me times and things I enjoy giving back to myself are, Lipton Green tea with honey or guava, reading and learning, spa treatment in the bath tub, spending fun quality time with my husband like going out to dinner and catching a great movie afterwards, traveling, praying and meditating, journaling, 30 minutes walks which I need to get back to, getting my hair done when its time, polishing my nails and toes, buying something for myself, having sweet fellowship and feeding my spirit man at Church and having social time with the ladies.

As women we want to be a part of everything and attend everyones gathering. But you have to decide what is truly important for you.

You must develop a relationship with the Holy Spirit so He can prompt you when you are taking on too many things in your life or when you are suppose to do something different than what you or other people think you are suppose to be doing.

Everyone has an agenda, but it is God’s agenda that should reign supreme in your life. But let me reveal this revelation. God has given us the ability to make wise decisions for ourselves. God requires us to follow after Jesus example on how we should conduct our lives. Jesus is the standard for us to pattern our life after, it is the blue print on how we are suppose to conduct ourselves with our family, friends, on our jobs and in the world. That is  one of the requirements to live a Christ centered life.

He has given you the free will to choose how you want your life to be. He will present things before you, but ultimately you must decide on what job to take, who to marry, where you want to live, which gifting and talents you want to develop, what type of car you want to drive, what kinds of attributes you want to display in the world, what house you want to live in and how you want to spend your days on earth.

The Bible is the road map for the best possible outcome to based your decisions on. The Bible is the true word of God, it is not to be taken lightly. It is prophecy in a book. It is God’s word to man, but God gave you free will, He left it up to you to do the choosing. The Holy Spirit is God’s helper, He will illuminate to you which way you should go if you develop a intimate trusting relationship with him. The Holy Spirit will speak to your heart and prompt you when it is something you should do or not be doing at this time if your life. Most Christians have not develop that relationship with the Holy Spirit. If you are born again, I would recommend you read this book by Benny Hinn called “Good Morning Holy Spirit” if you want to be born again pray this prayer.

Ladies, I know we want to have our cake and eat it too, but there is a price that comes with that. It takes careful thought and planning and great organization skills of which I am learning to develop everyday. I know everything is not going to be perfect, but perfect to me is having a peace of mind and living true within my heart, and being the change that I want to see and that starts with me.

All I was hearing in my spirit was get your house in order and that could mean different things for different people because we are all called to something different in life. Your struggle my be totally different from my struggles.

I was presented with an offer, that I might add, I asked God for, but after the offer was presented to me, all I heard was get your house order and organize in every are of your life. I heard 30 days.

I began working on it right way. The 1st thing I did, was write out a plan on how I was going to tackle all of my task that was set before. Before I can take on another obligation, I must do this 1st. Get my house in order.

I wrote a plan for decluttering every area in my home and this was not a surface plan. It was very detailed. I was not going to leave not one stone unturned. Sometimes we tackle the surface clutter that we see and neglect the clutter we can not see.

All of the hidden clutter I had to tackle was underneath the cabinets, inside the closets, inside the drawers, I no longer have a junk drawer because I assigned everything a place. Everything I had no use for, I donated it or I threw it away.

I tackled every room in my house and as I was cleaning and decluttering, I was making a list of all the things that needed fixed or mending.

I heard in my spirit, get a system for how you would keep it clean, and  do it the same way every time. I created me a system for every room and I created me an inventory list after every system of things that needed to be purchased for the upkeep of that particular room.

Sometimes our breakthroughs are attached to the things we are willing to give up. Sometimes our prosperity is attached to the things we are willing to implement and do. Sometimes clutter is an indicator of the things we are still holding on to, and sometimes God is just trying to make sure we lay a proper foundation before we build our house so it is not built upon a faulty foundation.

Today it has been a week since my purging and decluttering and I have 2 more rooms to tackle. I will complete them today. The laundry room and the basement.

While I was cleaning, I was thanking God for all of the blessings that are in my life. As I cleaned and decluttered each room, I realize how abundantly blessed I am.

I have clean running water, a warm bed to lay my head down on, heat on those cold nights, cover to keep warm, food in the refrigerator, an amazing husband that affords me the luxury of being a stay at home mom to our children, a home that is paid off, cars that are paid off and a whole host of other blessings.

As I have been extremely grateful, I have being noticing things showing up in my life, big blessing that reminds me of what God said in Matthew 6:25-34 KJV:

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your Heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:” “And yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.”

“Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?” “Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?” “(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.” “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

I believe I am doing what I am suppose to be doing right now, It feels so in alignment. All I know is God is up to something good and I am excited to see what that is and I will keep you posted. But until then, what is God putting on your heart in this season of your life. Please do not say I don’t know. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you and began implementing it right away. 5 Spiritual Laws That Will Change Your Life, If You Practice Them!

pexels-photo-112641Through out this journey called life, you will receive little messages. If you are reading this blog post today, I believe I wrote this blog post just for you. It is not by accident that you clicked on “Breakthrough Blog 4 Women.” I believe our paths was meant to cross. There is something that you need to know in this article that will help you on your life’s journey.

I want to share with you 5 spiritual laws that is going to make a big difference in your life if you implement them.

These principles can set you free from those who you have been allowing to control your life, they can set you free from yourself, and they can set you free from your past and show you how go into your future with a new mindset.

If you implement this first principle alone you will sleep like a baby tonight.

Principle #1 The Law of Forgiveness

The Law of Forgiveness states, “in order for God to forgive you, you have to for give others.” Mark 11:25 ESV

In order for things to change in your life, you have to forgive anyone who has ever hurt you, violated you and offended you. You have to forgive yourself for not always making the best choices for your life. You have to forgive God for any unanswered prayers, any disappointment you may be feeling and for not protecting you from someone who violated you.

When our life has not worked out the way we think it should have, we play the blame game and hold unforgiveness in our heart towards the people or things that violated us.

All of those negative emotions that you are feeling inside your heart, the pain that you are feeling and even some sickness, has a lot to do with you not forgiving.

When you forgive someone, you are doing it for your sake so you can be free. We think if we do not hold people hostage, we are letting them off the hook and saying it is ok what you’ve done to me.

No, it is never ok for someone to violate you, but your refusal to forgive them is keeping you unhappy and bitter. Some of the addictions that you have is because you use it to cover the pain of what was done to you. You have to release it, so your life can prosper and you can find peace. Allow God to fight on your behalf.

Romans 12:19 ESV Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”

You have to forgive yourself, you are worthy to be forgiven. Sometimes we have a hard time forgiving others because we hold ourselves at such a high standard. We need to learn to give forgiveness to ourselves. So what, you made a bad choice, just ask for forgiveness and move on. Tell yourself, ” I forgive you for not being perfect.” You deserve mercy and you deserve grace, please give it to yourself.

Principle #2 The Law of Thinking

The Law of thinking states that, “whatever you hold in your in mind, in a habitual way, becomes your reality in time.”

If you can control your thoughts, you can control your life! You have to master your thought life.

Research shows that the human mind has more than 50,000 to 70,000 thoughts a day. Others too believe that 70% to 80% of the human thoughts are negative.

You can always tell what a person is really thinking, just listen to his or her conversations. I recommend you buy the book by James Allen “As a Man Thinketh” it will change your life.

For example, someone hurt you and you make up in your mind that you are going to forgive them. It takes faith to forgive, but the thoughts of them hurting you keep playing over and over in our mind. How do you think you are going to react to that person when you see them again if you do not cast down those thoughts? Probably not so good, because you have played it over and over in our mind how they hurt you.

You must capture every thought before it lodges in your mind and takes residence. One of the ways I control my thoughts is by stopping it before it enters. This can be very tricky at first because you are used to allowing anything in your thoughts. This will require lots of effort on your part. You can not be lazy. You have to really focus.

It is like playing a game, your job is to not let the thoughts enter at all, and the thoughts entering wants to catch you off guard, so it can set up camp by taking over your thoughts and feeding your mind with lies, fear, and unforgiveness. What you think about and meditate on, you will eventually act out.

If you can train your thoughts and block the negative chatter before it enters, and replace it with a positive thought, you can change your life, to one of peace, happiness and abundance.

This is what I do when a negative thought tries to enter my mind, as soon as I recognize it is as a negative thought, I cast that thought down and then I replace it with what I want to see happen.

Make sure your thoughts are lining up with only what you want to see come into your life because it will take you places only you can dream of, and that goes for thoughts of negativity or positivity.

Principle #3 The Law of Your Confession

The Law of confession states that, “Life and death are in the power of your tongue and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21

I want you to really get this principle. Words carry energy,  before you release them out of your mouth, make sure you think about what kinds of results you want them to bring to you.

Your words alone can change your life. If you have never paid attention to your words and the things that are coming out of your mouth, today is the day you will become aware of how your words have impacted your life!

Your words and your thoughts are in direct correlation to each other, that is way you have to gain control of your thoughts because it come out in your words. But you can have a wrong thought and reject it by the power of your words.

For example, you have a thought to come across your mind, I am not smart enough to past this test. Use the power of your words to speak to your thought and make it obey what you want it to do. Do not allow that thought to be spoken out of your mouth. Speak opposite of what that thought want you to do or say, and say it over and over again. Say out of your mouth, I am going to pass this test. Never speak of what you don’t want to show up in your life.

Proverbs 18-21 says that with the fruit of a man’s mouth his stomach will be satisfied; He will be satisfied with the product of his lips.

Speaking only of what you love will combat all negativity. Take a moment to pay attention to what keeps showing up in your life that you are not happy with. Could it be because you are using your mouth to tear it down by speaking of what you don’t want to show up? But remember, the only way you can change your words is to change what you are thinking about.

Principle #4 The Law of Belief

The Law of Belief states that, “you get out of your life what you truly believe you can receive.” Rather you believe you can have something or not, you are working the law of belief.

Mark 11:24 ESV Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

You have to believe in yourself and you have to believe in the words that your are speaking over yourself because it does not matter what they say, it only matters what you say and what you think about yourself.

No one has the power to stop you from becoming great only you have the power to stop yourself from becoming great or achieving anything in your life. But you have got to believe in yourself so much that you believe in your own hype.

How was I able to change the negative inner dialogue that I was having with myself? By taking on the words that God said about me first, and then getting in front of the mirror and changing the negative inner dialogue that I was having with myself.

At first this is going to seem silly, but you have to become obsessed with it until you believe it, and then your action is going to line up with what you think about yourself.

There will be negative chatter all around you, trying to make you feel like you don’t belong. We live in a culture where others want you to feel inferior to them. You have no one to be afraid of. Hold your head up high you are royalty, it came with you when you were born. You were never meant to blend in with the crowd you was always created to shine and sparkle. You were never created like anyone else, so why are you trying to be just like everybody else?

You have your own uniqueness, talents, gifting and skills. You have your own finger print. That is an indicator that you were not suppose to be like others. There is something so special about what you were so uniquely designed to do, that even if you had the same talent as someone else, you would put your own spin on it.

Your looks, your race and your genes were created just for you. You are a gift to this world. but if you don’t embrace who are and be proud of where you come from, we are never going experience your brilliance because you don;t think you have what it takes. So celebrate being different and stand out and shine!

pexels-photo-128899.jpegPrinciple # 5 The Law of Reciprocity

The Law of Reciprocity states, “whenever you say anything that causes people to feel better about themselves, they have a deep unconscious need to reciprocate.”

Matthew 7:12 – Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

The reverse is also true in that, if you do something that hurts others, they will feel the need to hurt you back as well, so be careful how you treat others and how you talk to others.

You never know why a person is treating you the way they are treating you, it could be is because you have treated them certain way. You probably won’t get it back from the person you have treated bad or good, it probably would come back from someone total different.

Luke 6:31 – And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

We have a deep psychological need to be even with others. If a person does something for you, we feel a need to get even by doing something nice in return.

There comes a time in everyones life when you have to pay attention to what keep showing up in your life, I mean you really have to stop and look at the choices that you are making that is causing particular result in your life.

I don’t know if you know it or not, but you have the power to change the direction in which your life is headed. I am going to say this to you again. I don;t know if you know it or not but you have the power to change the direction in which your life is headed

So you be the first to put this law in order,

Mark 12:31 – And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Have a grateful heart towards everyone you meet, and treat everyone with kindness and respect you never know who God will use to get you to the next level or to help you.

The Law of Reciprocity could be as simple as is you holding the door for someone, being kind and considerate, giving some one a worthy compliment, being respectful to authority, respecting the rights of others, helping someone out by lending a helping hand, talking to others with respect, making sure you are operating out of positivity and always coming from a good place.

You Are Different, Love Who you are!

Looking back over my life, I am reminded of the many blessing that have been bestowed upon me. Taking mental note of the time I visited the rich continent of Africa and seeing all the beautiful people of color who look just like me, I felt like I was at home.

Remembering the smile that never left my face as I gazed at the thousands of people on the street hustling for their families and fighting for survival trying to get the next sell as women and children embrace the roadside selling roasted corn, peanuts, boiled eggs, coconut shavings, grilled meat and drinks.

I saw my sisters walking like stallions, so poised and statues. It was so natural and effortless for them to carry a whole tray of goods to sell on the top of their heads. I knew in that instant that these women were the real models of the world.

If you put African women on the runway it would be no problem for them to embrace and ace the runway with physique, poise, beauty, grace and charm as such as their own.

I was reminded in that instant that these are my people, I came from them, I felt so proud to have come from a lineage that is hardworking, industrious, strong, beautiful, innovative, rich with presence and culture.

I do not think you can truly know yourself until you have met the Heavenly Father and accept His son Jesus and if you do not know your history. God in his infinite wisdom assigned a plan for us and that included our race, our lineage, culture, purpose, gifting, skills, assignment and our faith. Every person on earth must embrace theses two truths.

Rather you are African American, African, Latino, Caucasian, Asian or Indian, you must seek revelation of who God ordained you to be when He put you on planet earth.

If we are going to survive on planet earth, the human race must co-exist together regardless of the idea that God had for us when we came to this planet.

It is not God’s design for one race to try and oppress another race, or to out do another culture. Competitiveness, oppression, rejection and mental enslavement is of the devil. There is nothing good about the oppression of anyone. Hierarchy is only justified when everyone is treated with fairness, love, dignity, respect and pride. There is no place for that kind of behavior in the Kingdom of God.

But I am not only talking about injustice against race, but injustice in all forms. Injustice can be in our own culture, in our own families, in our congregations, on our jobs, it can be injustice against the elderly, injustice against the poor, injustice and oppression of women. I love what the book of James has to say about this subject.

James 2:1-8 My brothers, show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory. For if a man wearing a gold ring and fine clothing comes into your assembly, and a poor man in shabby clothing also comes in, and if you pay attention to the one who wears the fine clothing and say, “You sit here in a good place,” while you say to the poor man, “You stand over there,” or, “Sit down at my feet,” have you not then made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him? But you have dishonored the poor man. Are not the rich the ones who oppress you, and the ones who drag you into court? Are they not the ones who blaspheme the honorable name by which you were called?

If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well.

James 3:13-18 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? Let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

What is so sad to me is that, we do not know our culture and where we come from. We are ashamed of our history, we are ashamed of our culture. We do not know our lineage. It is true that our culture has been stripped from us and some of us never heard of our true origin, but that is not an excuse anymore, we need to find out our rich heritage by opening up books and reading and researching on the internet. We need to get back to loving our true identities. That goes for all culture!

Every person on earth comes from God and everything God created is beautiful. It is absurd to think God created one group of people better than the next group. We are all exceptional human beings, with intelligence and brilliance beyond our wildest imagination.

We were all designed to flourish on earth together, this is not an exclusive planet. We are not robots that were created to operate just alike. We were put here to embrace the beauty of everyone, to give each human being a chance to express the creativity of our maker. To celebrate our difference, to distinquish ourselves from each other, to stand out in the crowd, we were never meant to blend in with society.

My cultural clothes, my hair, my features, my physique, my lineage was never meant to bring me shame. But they were created to bring glory to me, and they were always meant for me to stand out from the rest and to shine.

My dark beautiful skin was alway meant for me to shine!

and you my beautiful Latino, Asian, Caucasian and Indian sisters were meant to shine as well. And this saying goes for all of us, when you reject my skin, my culture, my lineage you are rejecting yourself, when you look away when you see the color of my skin, you just confirm the lack of love you have for yourself, because God is love and we are all made in the images and likeness of God. We all came from God!

Lets heal by embracing each other differences. Lets support womanhood  because at the core of our being, we share the same commonalities, we are mothers, wives, women with dreams, women who wants the same equal opportunities, women who wants acceptance to just be ourselves to the core of our being, women who wants understanding and women who  wants a better life for our families.

I hope this blog post open your eyes to embracing who God created you be and except others for who God created them to be. Our world will be a better place for it.

You Are Enough Just The Way You Are!

We are now entering into a new year, many new goals and new year resolutions has been written on paper and voiced in the atmosphere. It’s only one day from the old calendar year, to entering into a new year, only 24 hours between the goals and new resolutions that you have set for yourself.

There is something freeing about a new year, even though it is just another day from the past year, in 24 hours our calendar date changes only one digit from the previous year.

We hit the reset button in our minds to start a fresh. We have something new to look forward to in the hopes of accomplishing a better life than the one we had lived a day before.

So what are we actually after? What do we really want at the core of our being? Why do we take the time to make new contracts with ourselves?

I believe what we really want is to feel fulfilled, successful, accomplished, happy, like our life have meaning, beautiful, significant, validated, rich, confident, secure, in control of our circumstances, loved, valuable, acknowledge and important.

What if I told you that you are already all of those things just the way you are. Who told you that you had to have all those things? Who told you that you are not good enough without them? Who brought discontentment into your life? Who sold you a bill of goods that if you are not accomplishing these thing then you do not measure up in the world’s society.

Who told you to compare yourself?  Who told you that you can not enjoy your life just being? Who told you that you had to be doing?

I want you to stop and breathe, release out a big sigh, embrace the space that you have been given right where are. Feel your presence, look at your body parts, you are alive! Now I want you to detach from all of the false expectation that was put on you from every environment that you came from.

You do not have to be anything because you are everything! You are the air that you breathe, you are the space that you fill up, you are immensely provide for, you were sent here with every provision to fulfill your destiny, you are light, you are salt, feel your own greatness. Embrace your own success, you are already successful, you are already beautiful, you are already enough, you are already lovely, feel your own presence, breathe your own air.

Magnificently designed, already loved, you have everything  you need inside of you. You were already sent to planet earth with a plan. It is built inside of you. You are wired for it, God already made provision for you showing up. You have been created with the best energy source, atoms and protons right down to the cellular level.

Your expression is so uniquely designed and was made to communicate with your extraordinary maker. Only He can download into your being what and who you were created to become. But you first have to acknowledge his presence.

Open up your mouth and admit to Him how you have searched your entire life trying to make since of your life. Admit to him that this is to much to measure up to, and to keep up with, what the world defines as success. Admit to him that it is exhausting becoming somebody. Admit to him that you are scared of missing the mark. Admit to Him that you think you are not beautiful enough, smart enough, and that it is a lot to juggle. Admit to him that you are afraid of living your whole life and not truly feeling fulfilled. Admit to him that you do not have all the answers in all of your reasoning. Admit to him that you are just afraid.

Tell Him that you need his wisdom and knowledge on the truth of your created being. Tell him you need Him to show you what love looks like. Tell him to show you how you are really supposed to be loved and ask him how to really love yourself. Ask him to lift up a standard against anyone or anything that wants you to feel worthless, powerless, guilty and like you are not enough. Ask him to reveal truth to your heart and mind. Ask him to give you the courage to walk in your own truth when he shows you to it.

Know that the core of your design was never measured in doing but only in becoming, When you become all that God created you to become than the doing flows naturally. Trust the natural order of the Universe. God said, “all things are working together for your good.”

When you have found yourself with any negative emotions, dig a little deeper you are doing and not becoming, you are not trusting the God that designed you. But you have placed your trust in your own confidence and what it looks like around you.

I need you to remember there is a natural order, and a natural flow to your life. Your were created to live in trust, not in the world but in God because He is working all things out for your good!

6 Principles Single Ladies Need To Have In Place To Attract Boaz/Cont. Principle #3

Single Ladies this is the end of principle #3,”LETTING GO OF BAGGAGE.” This is a 6 part series of “6 PRINCIPLES SINGLE LADIES NEED TO HAVE IN PLACE TO ATTRACT BOAZ.” I’ve taken longer on Principle #3 because there were so many layers to this principle, that I had to give each baggage its own blog post.

Please click the links to read the previous principles.

Principle #1, What you need to be and what he needs you to be

Principle #2, Enjoying your own company

Principle #3, The baggage of bitterness, hatred, strife, and unforgiveness,

Principle #3, The baggage of jealousy, envy, covetousness and strife

In this blog we are going to talk about,

“Sexual Sins and the Spirit of Lust and Seduction”

I would be remiss if I did not talk about the baggage of sexual sins and the spirit of lust and seduction. When I told God yes to partnering with him to help his daughters be made whole in every area of their life, I made a commitment to God, and there were certain assignments, I was given to expose the works of darkness. I wrote an article about “5 Ways to Overcome Any Addiction,” please take time to read this article because I will not cover it in this blog. If you are struggling with any addiction and want to get set free from sexual sins and the spirit of seduction read this article. It will be advantageous to your deliverance.

Before I get into this topic let us get the mind of God on this subject.

I Thessalonians 4 :1-8. We beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God,

For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God.

That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

The highlighted parts in pink are important because this is the will of God for single ladies. You never have to doubt again if that sexual relationship you are in is of God, because that is not his will for you according to scripture. Now, if you really want to know if this is a relationship God wants the both of you to pursue, stop having sex with him, and do it God’s way.

The #1 question you should ask yourself before pursuing any relationship with a man is, will this be a godly covenant? Does he have a true relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Are we equally yoked? Just because you are having a sexual relationship with him does not mean you can not pursue a godly covenant with him now, but both parties must be willing to do it Gods way. Abstain from fornication until after you both have said I do.

I tried getting around writing on this topic but I felt like I would be robbing my sisters of the breakthrough that they really deserve. I escape the deadly sin of lust and was delivered from it. It was so freeing not to be bound with that sin anymore. I want the same for you. A lot of single ladies struggle with this sin. I am not writing to you because I had it all together in this area because I did not. I am writing to you to warn you just like the passage in the Bible talks about, how the rich man went to hell and wanted to go back and warn his brothers.  He did not have an opportunity to go back and warn his brothers.

Take heed today single ladies, God allowed me to escape it! I came back to expose it and help you to deal with it!

Lust is a deadly sin. It is not to be played with, but you would not know this unless you have been delivered from it. I want to see my single sisters delivered, I do not want the enemy taken you out prematurely and settling for less than what God ordained for you. One wrong encounter with the wrong person can end your life.

You never know you are in darkness, until you have seen the light, and you never know what real love is until God has to show it to you. And you never know the grace that is on your life until you have escape from the snare of the fowler. And you never appreciate your life, until you have taken an aids test and you past it. If you have been promiscuous.

There are some things that are going on with single ladies in the Kingdom of God that has to be dealt with. Today if you just keep reading you will be delivered!

God wants his daughters whole. The enemy has been using single ladies to partner in his work against your sisters in Christ, against marriages, and against God’s leaders. Yes, I am talking about born again, tongue talking believers of the most high God and unbelievers alike.

Not another day will you be used to build the works of darkness kingdom. God wants to deal with this sin in the believer’s life. Both men and women. But since I am writing to you Single Lady, today God is talking to you.

Some of you are struggling with lust and want to be delivered from it so badly, but do not know how to get free from this sin. Some of you are waddling in this sin and you know what you are doing is just flat out wrong, but you have built up a resistance to the things of God and just don’t care. Hopeful after reading this blog post your heart will be back open to the things of God and after He shows you how much He loves you and care about you. God wants you to have his best for your life.

A man knows the difference between a woman who wants attention and showing all of her goodies, from a classy confident woman who do not need that kind of negative attention. Yes, he will be drawn to you because you are enticing to him, but he will never commit to you but in the bed. He will be drawn to her because she has standards, leaving something to the imagination, she is classy and confident. She knows that she do not need to display her goodies to get attention. Her confidence and smile speaks for itself. She is mysterious to him and he wants to get to know her because there is something that is different and special about her. She is not like all the other women he is use to seeing, that exposes her body to get noticed.

Some ladies will do anything to feel loved. Lust is not love, but because you do not know what real love is, you substitute lust for love. You have to stop your self destructive behaviors. If you are a Christian then your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, but that lust addiction, is going to destroy you if you do not gain control of it. I am qualified to speak into your life because when I was a single Lady, I struggled with some of the same things. I want you to know, that I am not judging you. I want you to be free from every snare of the enemy. I want you to know what the Bible says about sexual sins and sins of the flesh. Some of you have made some spoken and unspoken covenant with the spirit of darkness, and they need to be broken.

Galatians 5:19-21 ESV Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God

Romans 13:13 ESV Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy

2 Peter 2:2 ESV And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed

Roman 1-24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another

Roman 1-26 NLT That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other

Stop those self-destructive behaviors that causes you to give your body to multitudes of men and women. Lesbianism (being involved sexually with another women), having orgies (multiple people having sex with each other all at the same time) masturbation (pleasing yourself sexual), adultery (involved sexual with a married man), porn (watching nasty movies) and every sin that have to do with sex and perversion are all against God intended design. You are using sex to medicate the pain of feeling unworthy and unloved.

All you wanted was attention and to be loved, accepted, wanted, cherished, valued, adored and you found a distorted way of obtaining it, and this thing has grown into an addiction. Some of you have said to yourself, I will never again feel the pain of rejection and now you are acting it out in all kinds of ways to get attention and be the girl that is on top. Some of you do not know how the words you spoke, entered you into a covenant agreement with the spirit of darkness.

Single ladies, who have a covenant with God should never be operating like others who do not know God, but it is happening. Christian woman who are married and single ladies are breaking covenant with God left and right. There has been a spirit of seduction that has been released in this generation. Look at who the worldly role models are and our Christian role models. They are embracing the red carpet, concerts, award ceremonies and everyday life wearing little to no clothes, showing their panties, showing breast, exposing their private parts and being bold and proud about it. The music and videos of the world is so sensual, fowl and seductive, no wonder way so many woman or dressing the way they are. The Christian community are trying to keep up with the world.

1 Timothy 2:9-10
Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments, but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim to godliness.

As covenant believers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we should not be patterning ourselves after the way the world dresses. From 1 Timothy 2:9-10 we should dress ourselves in the proper attire, modestly and discreetly. You should ask yourself before you walk out of the house, would God be pleased with what I am wearing. Woman are wearing enticing seductive clothing to get attention from anyone who wants to look.

Christian ladies are showing their breast, cleavage and panty line. They are wearing too little dresses and shorts. The are wearing tight leggings and are not covering up their back side, of course men are going to look at you. Married men and single men a like. That was your intentions before you walked out of the door, to entice men. So don’t go and tell your friend that sister Lee’s husband was staring at you. Everybody is staring at you because of your immodest dressing.

Modesty: having or showing regard for the decencies of behavior, speech, dress, etc.; decent:a modest neckline on a dress.

We are coming to the house of the Lord with wrong motive and impure intentions. There is a spirit of seduction that has entered our congregations. Single ladies as well as married ladies are operating of this spirit. God says we should live in the world but not part of the world.

Their is an attack on the leadership in our congregations, marriages and Christian marriages are not exempt. This spirit is destroying homes, breaking up congregations and causing the set men of God to destroy his marriage covenant and scatter the flock. There have been men of God that have fallen under this seductive seducing spirit. Married men and single men. And the devil is using woman to do it! I know men are luring woman as well, but my calling is to women. In Jesus Name! I claim back the wondering sister, I claim back the drifting sister, I claim back any of my sisters that is being used in a spirit of seduction.

1 Corinthians Chapter 7:1-21 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

We have a generation of covenant breakers and it is seeping into our congregations. Single woman and married woman are being busy bodies meddling in the covenant marriage relationships. Woman are trying to play innocent and are secretively trying to seduce married men with glances of stares, laughing and smiling, touching on men they do not have a covenant with. Prancing and walking seductively in front of him, trying to get noticed by him. These are woman who have a covenant with God. They are being purposeful and intentional but want others to believe in their innocences. You might have people fooled, but God sees and knows everything. This is happening in the our congregations.

Ladies the scripture speaks in Corinthians 7:1-21 that it is not good that a man touch a woman that he is not married too. But woman are the ones during the touching. It is woman that is violating covenants. The scripture teaches to avoid fornication let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. Men are falling because the woman are making the connections by touching on men that are not their husband. Satan is subtle he comes in through a door least expected. It takes someone that is in tune with the Holy Spirit to recognize he subtleties because the Holy Spirit reveals all things.

Ladies you should not be touching on a man that is not your husband. Not on his back to say hello, or his arms, or with a hug and slightly rubbing your breast on him, not on his hands in a seductive manner. You should not touch him period! Use you words. We have all been taught to use our words. If you need to say hi, use your words and not your hands to do so. That will keep you out of trouble. I know some people can be touch feely but if you as a Christian woman want to properly position yourself, and keep your heart pure and clean before God uses this approach.

Single ladies guard your thoughts, allowing lustful perverted thoughts to enter your mind about a man that is not your husband or that is someone else’s husband is a dangerous thing to be playing with. Because your thoughts create your reality and you would start acting out when you see that man and his wife. You would start to get envious of his wife  who really have a covenant with him. You will be in sin because you are trying to interject yourself in a godly covenant marriage. If the man is not married, you will get jealous if you see that man with another woman and acting out towards her because in your mind you have built up this fantasy that you guys are a couple. You should not be fantasizing about any man that is not your husand.

God created sex to be enjoyed in a marriage relationship. A man married to a woman.

Proverbs 9:13-18 A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing. For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city, to call passengers who go right on their ways. Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: and as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him, stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant but he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell

Proverbs 9:13-18 says a woman who entice and seduce married and single men, who are not their husband is simple minded, she knows nothing. A man can be at home with his family going the right path and because your heart is not right and that spirit of lust and covetousness have attached it self to her, she will have seduced him right out of his home.

But proverbs says that the man that is lured by her is simple minded too.

I look up simple minded and it means: artless; unsophisticated; simple hearted foolish; stupid. Single lady do you want to seen as this definition describes? Do you want to be a home wrecker?

Proverbs 9:13-18 also talks about when men go into her, that her guest are in the depths of hell. Single lady this scriptures tells me that you are working for the devil. God is saying any man that goes into you in this state, is going to the dead and hell. You are killing these men. Tell the devil you are no longer using my body as an avenue to lure men into hell.

Ephesians 5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God

Single lady, that is why you have to be built up on the inside. You have to allow God to make you whole so you would not settle for the counterfeit attention and love from a man not worthy of your heart. You have stop selling yourself short and love yourself enough to stop your self destruction ways. God wants to show you what real love is. He love you so much that he do not want you to settle. Always making your self second class and second rate. You never have to get any body sloppy seconds. God wants to give you your own husband who will dedicate his love, time and attention to you. But you have to first cleanse your heart and rid yourself of destruction behavior and allow God to make you whole inside. Tell yourself that you will not be part of Satan tactics against the kingdom of God. You are on God’s side, You are a kingdom builder! Rid yourself of this baggage. So when your Boaz shows up he will find you peaceful and drama free!

6 Principles Single Ladies Need To Have In Place To Attract Boaz/Principle #3

Hello extraordinary single lady, this is the 3rd principle of “6 PRINCIPLES SINGLE LADIES NEED TO HAVE IN PLACE TO ATTRACT BOAZ” if you are reading this blog post without learning about the 1st and 2nd principle, I suggest you stop and read the 1st and 2nd principles single ladies need to have in place to attract Boaz.

The 3rd Principle is “Letting Go of Baggage”

Imagine carrying a duffle bag, a purse, shopping bags, and 2 big piece of luggage while walking through the airport. That would weigh you down, right? It would be to overwhelming to carry all of that travel gear by yourself. Your shoulders would be hurting, you would be out of breath, it would slow you down majorly, and you would even start to feel like you are going to pass out.

That is why they provide carts that you can pay for to help you carry your luggage. But some people do not want to spend the 5.00 to relieve themselves of the stress of carrying all of that stuff through the airport so they struggle, their back ache, they look exhausted, they are tired and they do not get to enjoy the travel experience because they are weighed down with too much stuff.

Single lady, this is what happens to you when you will not and do not allow yourself to forgive your past, a bad relationship from your past, yourself for not always making the right decision or standing up for yourself, your parents, friends, family, someone who wrongly violated your innocence, the people from an old job, and God.

It weighs you down and slow your life down. Unforgiveness is poisonous to your whole being. You experience some of the same symptoms that the people who carry the physical baggage experience, but because you carry it longer than their temporary traveling gear, it will start to effect your bones and your health.

If you are a person that struggles with unforgiveness read these scriptures to learn what the Bible says about unforgiveness, and how unforgiveness can effect your health, prayer and your happiness.

When your heart is full of bitterness, hatred, strife, and unforgiveness it keeps you in bondage to the person you are holding the unforgiveness towards. That person has control over you. Because you are feeling your thoughts up with them often. You keep playing that same tape recorder of what they done to you over and over again.

When you tell the story about what they have done to you, you tell it just like it happened yesterday. You remember everything they said to you, and how it happened to you 10 years ago. Now that is having control over your mental state. When you tell the story, you feel those same emotions just like the day it happened to you.

This unforgiveness is keeping you depressed, lonely, unhappy, sick, untrusting, bitterness, self pity, in bondage to emotional eating, from unanswered prayer and

It is time to let it go!

Mark 11:25 – And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

No longer can you allow this sin to rule over you because it is trying to destroy your future. When you forgive the person you are doing it for your own sake, your own happiness and for your future.

Thoughts are powerful, that is why you need to gain control over them, because they are shaping your future.

You are asking for God to constantly forgive you, but you are refusing to forgive others. God says in

Matthew 18:23-35 “Therefore, the Kingdom of Heaven can be compared to a king who decided to bring his accounts up to date with servants who had borrowed money from him. In the process, one of his debtors was brought in who owed him millions of dollars. He couldn’t pay, so his master ordered that he be sold—along with his wife, his children, and everything he owned—to pay the debt. “But the man fell down before his master and begged him, ‘Please, be patient with me, and I will pay it all. Then his master was filled with pity for him, and he released him and forgave his debt.

“But when the man left the king, he went to a fellow servant who owed him a few thousand dollars. He grabbed him by the throat and demanded instant payment. “His fellow servant fell down before him and begged for a little more time. ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay it,’ he pleaded. But his creditor wouldn’t wait. He had the man arrested and put in prison until the debt could be paid in full. “When some of the other servants saw this, they were very upset.

They went to the king and told him everything that had happened. Then the king called in the man he had forgiven and said, ‘You evil servant! I forgave you that tremendous debt because you pleaded with me. Shouldn’t you have mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you? Then the angry king sent the man to prison to be tortured until he had paid his entire debt. “That’s what my heavenly Father will do to you if you refuse to forgive your brothers and sisters from your heart.”

I know it was very painful what happened to you, but you have escaped it, now escape it out of your thoughts. It is ok to forgive them.

Say this prayer, Lord I forgive myself for any wrong choices that I have made in my past, I forgive myself for not taking care of myself, I forgive myself for not being perfect, I forgive everyone and everything that has ever hurt me and rejected me, I forgive you God for not protecting me from being violated from others, I forgive all the people that has hurt me or cause harm to me, I forgive my parents for not loving me the way I needed to be loved, I forgive my old job and the people that was at that job, I forgive any past relationship an friendships that have wronged me, hurt me, or rejected me in Jesus name Amen.

Now what is going to happen, as you are on your forgiveness journey, you are going to have those old thoughts trying to come back and get you to think on what happen to you in the past. You will have to catch those thoughts before they enter into your mind. When you have realized that you have allowed them to enter, you will have to speak to those thoughts and say out loud, I have already forgiven myself, God and those people. I reject you out of my thoughts. Then you start singing uplifting song, to replace the negative thoughts so you can continue to think on great things.

Baggage is not just unforgiveness, Baggage comes in all kinds of forms like jealously, envy, Gossip, strife, competitiveness, comparison, rejection, addictions and sexual sins.

I will touch on these subjects in the next blog post because I realize that I will not be able to cover these subjects in one single blog post. These subjects are dead weight and can stop you from entering into the promises for our life. Some people have never been taught on how to deal with these issues. They will try and over take you if not dealt with. I want to expose them and how they can stop you from feeling confident, creating a beautiful life, prevent you from walking into your future and hinder your prayers from being answered.

6 Principles Single Ladies Need To Have In Place To Attract Boaz!/ Principle #1

There are 6 areas that I am going to cover in this series and the 1st area that I am going to cover in this blog post is all about you.

Principle #1 What you need to be and what he needs you to be

Man giving woman flowers.

This is a topic that is dear to my heart. Before I got married I did not always live as a Extraordinary Single Lady. I am not speaking to you because I had it all together, but I am speaking to you as a person who has struggled with some of the same things you as a beautiful single lady is struggling with.

I did some inner work that I believed helped me to prepare myself before I got married. Every principle that I share with you, I practice them. I had to, because I wanted to feel good about me. I wanted my happiness to be based in my relationship with the Lord Jesus and not in someone else making me happy, so I did a lot of inner work on me before I actually got married. I believe the inner work that I did helped me to be more confident, to know my worth and to value myself as a woman, a Christian and as a child of God.

The inner work that I did on the inside of me helped me to know that I had options and that I did not have to settle for some guy that did not line up with my morals and standards. I got to the point where I did not look to any person to make me happy. I got to the point where I enjoyed my own company.

I had so many wrong ideas about what I needed to be before I attracted a mate. Things like you have to know who to cook, be domestic, look like a model, have a banging body and have your finances in order. You know all the things you read in the magazines or you learned from the world.

Today I want to presents some new ideas to you. What if I told you it doesn’t matter the color of your skin, the shape of your body, your educational background, the things you’ve done in your past, how many kids you have, If you are a domestic diva, and if you can cook like Rachel Ray.

What if I told you none of that matters when you want to attract the man of your dreams.

I know my title sounds catchy, but you will see that this whole message has to do with 2 things. Who God says that you are and who do you say that you are.

Today we are going to deal with your mindset! Now all of the things that I just listed in the paragraphs before are things we sometimes feel like we have to have to attract a man to us.

All of those things are additives and bonuses after you have discovered your purpose, worth and your value. They just makes your package look that much better to any potential suitor who wants to take your hand in marriage.

Now don’t get me wrong, when you value yourself as an Extraordinary Lady, you are going to want to keep your environment clean, look your best and take care of yourself financially because it do not feel good to have to rely on others to support you if you are a grown woman.

Now if you are still in college, I am not talking about you. But if you are solely relying on others to fully take care of you, it does not empower you or help you to feel confident as a woman to be relying on others. Even if you are still living at home with your parents, you need to find ways to create an income for yourself so you can have money to save and buy things you want and need. It is all about taking care of yourself mentally, physically and emotionally.

There are 6 areas that I am going to cover in this series and the 1st area that I am going to cover in this blog post is all about you.

What you need to be and what he needs you to be

to keep him interested in you and to be a challenge to him. Yes, even Christian woman. I know you are thinking if it is God there should not be any game playing, I don’t have time for games and no it is not a game. But there are somethings you need to have in place so that he knows you are not like every other woman who has allowed him to get what he want without a real commitment.

I am sure you have seen woman or perhaps yourself, that have been with a guy and have bent over backwards for him, you were the nice girl, you never really said no to him, you were the yes girl, he knew your heart was gold but he end up going with or marrying the other woman.

Why did he choose the other woman? He chose the other woman because she had something about her, that made him want to commit to her. I am only going to cover the first area in this blog post. You can subscribe to Breakthrough Blog 4 Women to read this 6 part series. I also wrote a book about this titled, “How to be an EXTRAORDINARY SINGLE LADY Principles, Values and Standards, to Have Before Your Boaz Arrives.”  The book goes more into depth and give more details about this subject, so if you want to know all of the  principles, I suggest you get a copy of the book. Just click the link in green and it will take you straight to my website where you can get a copy of the book.

What do you think set good quality woman apart from other women? It is being spiritual connected to God. So he is going to need you to have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Not a surface religious relationship with God, but a true rich God you are the air that I breathe type of relationship.

Because everything you are lacking in you right now is in God. God is the one that your true identity comes from. God created you and He knows you better than any man would ever know you.

God can make you feel whole inside. After having a true God encounter, you would never again go outside yourself looking for things and people to fulfill you. It doesn’t matter if human love did not love you the way you were meant to be loved, the only love you need to rely on is God’s love. God knew human love could not and would not sustain you. That is why he sacrificed his son Jesus on the cross for you, just to show you how valuable and worthy you are.

Now who has ever proved their love to you like that. Who has ever taken their only begotten son and sacrificed his life and died on the cross just for you? No one.

So why do we fall apart and feel rejected and not worthy when human beings do not have the capacity to love us to the standard that God loves us. No longer are you going to get validation from anyone in your life but God. And if someone compliments you, and say anything great about you, it is just a bonus to what you know to be true about yourself because your Heavenly Father already told you just how magnificent you already are.

A man needs someone to hold him accountable to be the best version of himself

Don’t get me wrong, men are just as spiritually in tuned to God as a woman is, but sometimes he is not as sensitive and intuitive as a woman may be. Sometimes a woman can make him see things in a totally different light and he will think you are amazing because he do not think like a woman.

Ladies there is something God put in a woman that is designed to help her husband but if you are not aligned with God how can you help him properly.

To help him best, your wisdom needs to come from God, and not from the world’s  wisdom. When you have God in your life you should have standards and morals. If we are reading our Bibles we should be patterning our life after the scriptures. But I do know everybody is at different levels and everyone get delivered at different times.

I know as a single lady I struggled with this flesh, I am not telling you this because I had it all together when I was single. But the Bible is truth. It is God’s word to us, to show us how we are to conduct ourselves as Christian. I am telling you my story so you do not have to struggle in your singleness like I did. God loves us, He wants the best for your life.

The scriptures are there not to deny us of our God given desires, but the scriptures are there to protect us from using our desires in a way that will harm our spirits, emotions and our body. The scriptures are there to protect us from getting hurt from others that mean us no good and have wrong motives and intentions towards us. The scriptures are there to  protect us from strife, unforgiveness, sickness and pain and to protect us from Satan tactics.

I wished I was as focused as I am now while I was single! I am not saying this so you can stay single, but I am telling you this because I want you to know just how powerful you are  as an Extraordinary Single lady, especially if you do not have kids.

You need to have purpose

You my beautiful Extraordinary Single Lady should  be experiencing quantum leaps in your purpose. What ever that may be. You have nothing but time on your hands to go back to school, if that is what you want to do. Start your own business, if that is what God leading you to do. Your Boaz when he finds you, he need to find you being busy with purpose. So he knows that you are a woman of focus and you do not have an open door policy that he thinks your time revolves around him. He needs to know, if he wants to spend time with you, he is going to have to rearrange his schedule because you are not just going to drop everything for him. That poses as a challenge to him and make you look very markable.

You have to love and value yourself enough that you don’t loose yourself when a man shows you a little attention. Some woman give to much, to fast in relationships. You are the prize. But don’t go over board with this either because you don’t want to be so tight on schedule that you turn him off but that is another blog post. Let me stay with the message I am trying to convey.

Single lady, you can live out your purpose without distractions. You do not have to have a man on your shoulders to be in ministry. Extraordinary single lady, do not allow anyone to put limits on you! What is God putting in your heart to do! What are you passionate about? You can do it. You can devote all of your time into it becoming amazing! Take the limits off your mind. Get in God’s face and ask him what is it that you should be doing in this season of your life. Did he called you to write a book, start a ministry, be a missionary. Now is the time to fulfill your mission, your calling. Are you called to be a brand, what is it! Do it.

Do not be afraid, you have what it takes just like anyone else. Now is the time for you to dream! You have to live with purpose. You should wake up every day excited about your life. Your life should be filled with amazing purposeful things.

Do not waste anymore of your days on insignificant things, stop during things just to fill up your day because you are unhappy, unfulfilled, lonely and bored with your life. You do not have time to be getting lonely. You should be going home and can;t wait to get in your bed because your purpose has taken up most of your day.

Purpose for you could be getting your life in order, cleaning and organizing your home, trying to get your life on a schedule so you won’t be overly stressed out. Decluttering and removing unwanted items out of your life. Removing toxic people and relationships out of your life. If you have children, being present with them, making sure you have a good relationship with your children. I will be writing to the single moms in a different blog post.

You are going to have to be a woman of prayer.

There shouldn’t be a day that goes by with out communicating with God. Talk to him like a real person. Tell him everything. Ask him for everything. Go to him first before you go to anyone. Tell him what you need, and be transparent with him. Do not run from his presence when you sin. Learn how to be intimate with God. You are going to have to learn how to pray before you get married, because when you get married, you are going to stay in prayer!

Your personalities are merging and you guys are raised up differently. You have your way of doing things and so do he. You are going to learn how to pray, so you can control your temper, you are going to learn how to pray so you can talk to your husband with respect when he says something to you that is going to hurt your feeling. You are going to need to learn how to pray to submit to his headship as the leader of your family. You are going to need to pray for discernment in certain situations. You need to learn how to listen to God’s voice in your life period.

Learn to depend and lean on God for everything. I mean everything! When your husband can’t produce a certain need for you or the family financially, you are going to have to ask God for it without putting pressure on your husband.

You gotta have standards

I want to talk more about setting standards for yourself because when you have standards you do not go for anything. What are your standards? What are those things that are non-negotiable? Our standards are a safe guard for us.

Our standards should be set for us by God and then we should have personal standards. For example, “What does the God say about premarital sex.” “What does the God say about being unequally yoked.” You are a believer of the Lord Jesus Christ and he is a believer of something else. You are a Christian but he is unsaved.

You do not smoke, but he do, is that a deal breaker for you? He is married but separated from his wife for 3 years. He is still legally married. What does the Bible say about that. He lied about having 6 children or he did not tell you he had children. What will you not put up with? Christian woman and woman who are not Christians feel like there is a shortage of men, so they are settling. Thy are tolerating anything from men. Allowing him to have a key to their house and driving their car. Why should he commit to you. You are giving him a wive statues with out the title!

You need to value yourself so much that you put up boundaries in all your relationships. You are always teaching people how to treat you. I can go on and on about this subject because this use to be me until I allow God to transform my mind. I am writing to you because I love my sisters and want to see them whole in every area in their life!.

Design Your Life: With Thought, Care and Wisdom

With where your life is right now, if you were given a white piece of paper and was told that you could create your life just by imagining it and writing it down on paper, what would you write? If you had no limits and you could get exactly what you want, what would your life look like?

I would advise you to think long and hard about how you would create your life. I would tell you to pay attention to all of the details and responsibilities that comes with having what your heart desires. I would advise you to think about your intentions and why you are asking for some of the things that you want to come into your life.

When your life is so wonderfully crafted it is done with thought, care and wisdom! This reminds me of King Solomon that the Bible speak about. I want to share this passage of scriptures with you.

2 Chronicles 1:7-12

Solomon went up to the bronze altar before the Lord in the tent of meeting and offered a thousand burnt offerings on it.

That night God appeared to Solomon and said to him, “Ask for whatever you want me to give you.”

Solomon answered God, “You have shown great kindness to David my father and have made me king in his place. Now, Lord God, let your promise to my father David be confirmed, for you have made me king over a people who are as numerous as the dust of the earth. Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people, for who is able to govern this great people of yours?”

God said to Solomon, “Since this is your heart’s desire and you have not asked for wealth, possessions or honor, nor for the death of your enemies, and since you have not asked for a long life but for wisdom and knowledge to govern my people over whom I have made you king, therefore wisdom and knowledge will be given you. And I will also give you wealth, possessions and honor, such as no king who was before you ever had and none after you will have.”

When God presented this declaration to Solomon, I believe Solomon told God what he wanted out of his greatest need at that time. Solomon realized the responsibility he was given and perhaps it was very overwhelming for him. I would even say that Solomon probably felt inadequate. After all, Solomon was king over a people who were as numerous as the dust of the earth. Solomon said to God, who is able to govern this great people of yours.

Instead of Solomon asking God for wealth and riches, vengeance  against his enemies and to let this cup pass to someone else, he decided to ask God for the wisdom and knowledge to handle it all.

I believe Solomon watched his dad when he was king, he probably was saying to himself, how is my father able to handle all of this responsibility, it is to much to bare. Solomon saw his father go to God in prayer continually and I bet his father made being in the kingship position effortless. King Solomon probably saw a lot of mistake his father made as well. Solomon gave much thought, care and wisdom to the opportunity that God presented him with. I can ask for whatever I want, and I can have it!

Solomon just asked for what he knew he needed. He asked for what would answer everything for him, something he felt like he was lacking greatly! Wisdom and knowledge to led God’s people. See Solomon was around wealth all of his life. After all, he was the son of a king. When ever the king asked for something it was given to him.

I believe we should ask for the greatest need. The thing that would solve it all for us! What are you lacking? What is it that have you feeling so inadequate? What is it that make you feel like you are not good enough? What do you need that would make you feel most successful in your life? That has to be pondered over with much thoughtfulness, care and wisdom.

In return for Solomon asking for what he really needed, which was wisdom and knowledge to led God’s people, God told Solomon, “Since this is your heart’s desire and you have not asked for wealth, possessions or honor, nor for the death of your enemies, and since you have not asked for a long life but for wisdom and knowledge to govern my people over whom I have made you king, therefore wisdom and knowledge will be given you. And I will also give you wealth, possessions and honor, such as no king who was before you ever had and none after you will have.”

Now let me ask you this question again.

With where your life is right now, if you were given a white piece of paper and was told that you could create your life just by imagining it and writing it down on paper.

What would you write? If you had no limits and you could get exactly what you want, what would your life look like?

5 Ways to Overcome Any Addiction!

So why do I want to address this issue? Because I lived with addictions and the affects of having addictions in your life is crippling! You will not be able to enjoy a beautiful life until your additions is dealt with. So this issue has to be addressed, if you want to live the beautiful life Christ Jesus died for you to have.

Addictions rob us of our self-worth and self-esteem. It leave us feeling guilty, ashamed, living in fear, causes us to hide, and have self-hatred, it destroys our character, pride, dignity and leave us feeling unworthy and without confidence. Addictions can also cause us to loose our relationship with our family, friends and associates. It can cause us to feel defeated, weak, hopeless and like failures. Living with an addiction can make you become heartless, covetous, selfish, lustful and uncaring, addictions can destroy your life!

Now you see why I must deal with this issue. God loves you so much and his whole mission for reconciling you back to him is so that you can really experience what it means to experience true love.

The motivating force behind addictions is for you to escape from the reality of your life because of the absence of love you have for yourself and the absence of love that you want to feel with a physical human being.

The addiction gives you a temporary fix of the real feeling you want to be experiencing. It keeps you going back to that feel good feeling when ever you need it, and in return, it is making you addicted on the thing you keep going back to.

It doesn’t matter what the addiction is, it could be gambling, food, lust of all kinds like porn, sexual simulation from yourself, the opposite sex, same sex, perversion, the need to please, drugs, gossiping, lying, stealing, cheating, food, alcohol, nicotine, OCD, anorexia, bulimia, body piercing, and even tattoos. It doesn’t matter the addiction, the reason for having the addiction comes back to 2 core things, the absence of love you have for yourself and the absence of love that you want to feel with a physical human being.

I know you do not want to struggle with these addictions in your life anymore. You so badly want to be free of them, like I wanted to be set free when I struggled with addictions.

No one sees you when you cry out at night and asking God to deliver you from these strange addictions. Even feeling like you want to take your life because you feel like you will never be set free from the addiction. You are in real pain. You are feeling hopeless and discouraged because you don’t know why you can’t get set free from this addiction.

I want to share with you some tools that I’ve learned and that have helped me to get set free of addictions that wanted to destroy my life and keep me from experiencing freedom in Christ and the beautiful life that I am experiencing right now!

There is hope for you so please do not give up! Fight for your life, and fight for your future. God is on your side. But you have to want to be set free more than the addiction that you think have control over you. By the way, those addictions are just distractions that are keeping from living the life God wants you to live. One of beauty, love, joy and freedom.

1. Acknowledge that you need help. Whether you acknowledge it to yourself, or someone you trust, you have to acknowledge it to God. Just by simply stating the fact that this is a problem and it is robbing you and everyone around you of the love, life, time, purpose, freedom and joy that you should be experiencing and that they should be experiencing with you, is the first step to getting free. You tried to do it on your own, and here it is 10 years or more later and you are still struggling with this addiction. You need help. Say it right now! Lord I need you and I need help that only you can bring me. I have tried to do it on my own and have not been successful, so now I invite you in to change my heart and my mindset when it comes to this addiction. Name the addiction that you are struggling with to God. I can’t assume that everyone has a relationship with the Heavenly Father, having a relationship is key to getting set free from addictions. Pray this prayer. If you feel like you need to re-dedicate your relationship with the Heavenly Father pray this prayer..

2. Read God’s word (Holy Bible) especially on the addiction you are struggling with and find out what his word says about it. Agree with God. Whatever He says about that sin. Write it down on paper and meditate on it until it become ingrained in your thoughts. You can go online and type it in. For example, “what does the Bible says about sex.” It will give you all the scripture concerning that topic.

In order for you to defeat your opponent you have to know everything about him. Satan is your opponent, his job is to keep you in darkness and from living a life of freedom and true fulfillment in Christ Jesus. You have to replace your defeated thoughts with new truths. Right down how God’s says you are to behave concerning that addiction. Now believe what God believes about it.

There are 3 major topics you are going to have to study concerning your opponent.

*Who is satan?

*What are satan tactics?

*How does satan tempt man and your way of escape?

3. Have a I am not giving up until I see my breakthrough attitude.   Make up in your mind that you are going to be delivered from this no matter what! And that you are not giving up until you are free! Make up in your mind that you are no longer going to be defeated in this addiction. Even if you fall back from time to time until you can walk in your freedom, you must get back up with a winners attitude. The Bible says in Proverbs 24:16 (KJV For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. Here is an inspirational song to encourage you on your journey to freedom. We fall Down and Get Back Up Again by Donnie McCurklin.

Now, disregard the verses of the song that says a Saint is just a sinner who fell down. Once you accept Christ as your savior, God no longer calls you a sinner but calls you righteous. Calling yourself sinner is identifying with what you once were before you gave your life to Christ. Now that you accepted Christ as your Savior, though you my may sin in a certain area, don’t mean you are a sinner who is practicing sinning with no consciousness. If you shall fall back in old behavior patterns just quote the scripture in 1John 1:9 (NIV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

4. Change your confession . speak it out of your mouth that you are delivered from the addiction. No longer agree with the negative chatter that is said by you, your thoughts or by other people. Do not claim to be a recovering nothing! You speak out of your mouth I am delivered from this addiction, I am set free from this addiction once and for all!  The bible says in Proverbs 18:21(KJV) Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. It also says in Proverbs 18:20 (KJV) A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.”

These scriptures are saying whatever you believe and speak out of your mouth is going to form your life. You will get exactly what you truly believe and speak about your life.

5. Guard your thoughts, eyes and your ears!  Our senses is how we experience our world and are the most sensitive parts of our body that incite stimuli. Your thoughts evoke emotions and feelings, so it is important that you are thinking the right things and learning new truths so your mind can think on scriptures and positive confessions and evoke good emotions in your body. You have to guard your gates, especially eyes and ears. The Bible say in Matthew 5:27-28(NKJV) “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Why did God say when a man or woman look to lust after another human being, they are not married to, that they already committed the act of adultery in their heart? Because temptation starts the very moment you see, hear and then you linger over the thoughts of what ever is tempting you.

You saw the married man once, then you look again and then you linger and then you start thinking about him. You have now entered in an adulterous relationship with that married man, that belongs to another woman, in your heart! Before you ever committed any sin in your life you have committed in your heart already. Listen to what this scripture teaches in

James 1:13-15 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when by his own evil desires he is lured away and enticed. Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is fully grown, it gives birth to death.…

So it is important to stop the temptation before it enters. 2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV) reads casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Don’t think you are so strong that it can not happen to you. This next scripture lets us know we can fall into temptation if we are not careful, and God always provides us with away of escape. You have to change the things you watch on TV, the friends you hang around, get rid of the computer if it is creating temptation for you. You have to move to a new location, stop talking on the telephone, when you see temptation turn the other way and you get out of there fast! Do not look twice! Throw away all of the things that is attached to that addiction.

1 Corinthians 10:12-14 So the one who thinks he is standing firm should be careful not to fall. No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide an escape, so that you can stand up under it. Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.…

Go on a fast! One day Jesus disciples was trying to cast out an evil spirit out of a boy but they could not. They asked Jesus why they could not cast the evil spirit out. He said in Mark 9:28:  After Jesus had gone into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?” Jesus answered, “This kind cannot come out, except by prayer and fasting.”

Fast and pray! I received healing from a spirit of miscarriages on a 40 day fast. Read the Bible to find out the correct way to fast. Some of you need to fast food, social media, telephone, TV, secular media, being around certain environments and people until you are strong enough to avoid temptation. I still do not watch some rated PG 13 movies and I do not watch rated R movies at all. How bad do you want to be set free from that addiction? You have to do what it takes to be set free of addictions and strongholds.
