13 Principles I Use To Manifest My Goals and Dreams On My Vision Board!

Today I want to share with you 13 principles I use to manifest my goals and dreams on my vision board.

If you have never heard of a vision board or if you have never created a vision board, click this link to read a blog post I wrote to my single sisters about how to create a vision board.

Please scroll down to the picture showing the vision board and start reading from there, because anything before that is talking to single ladies.

What is a vision board? A vision board is simply a tool used to see your goals, dreams and visions that you’ve written down on paper, translated into visual form by using real images or pictures.

For example; you wrote in your journal that you one day want to visit the Fiji Islands. You saw a picture in the magazine of the Fiji Islands, you can cut that picture out of the magazine and paste it to your vision board. Now, you can look at that dream and visualize yourself on the Fiji Island. The vision board itself has no power to make anything happen. It can not answer any prayers, and your faith should not be in the vision board itself. It is just a tool used to see your visions and dreams before your eyes by using real pictures. Got it?

Your faith should always be engaged in trusting the Heavenly Father and his word that these things are coming to pass.

It is not unscriptural that you are writing down the visions and dreams that you believe God is showing you for your life.

In fact, the scriptures teaches us to write the vision down and make it plain or clear!

Habakkuk 2:2-3 KJV

And the Lord answered me, and said write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it!

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.God said that he will give us the desires of our hearts if we delight ourselves in him. If you really want to know what it means to truly delight yourself in the Lord click here.

Psalm 37: 4

Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

God also said, when the people do not have a vision for their life, they perish. You need to dream and you need to have goals. It keeps your life in forward movement and unstuck.

I don’t know if you know it or not, but you were created to do good things and you were also created for good works. I will share with you what the scriptures says about this.

Proverbs 29:18 KJV

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepth the law, happy is he.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them,God wants you to believe him for the impossible. He said, if you can believe Him for the impossible, you can have it!

Matthew 19:26 NIV

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

Now that we’ve established that it’s not unbiblical to create a vision board and that our faith must be engaged in the Heavenly Father at all times, lets find out how to get the best use out of our vision board.

13 Principles I Use To Manifest My Goals And Dreams On My Vision Board!

1. After you have created your vision board, place it in an area where you can look at it at least twice a day.

I love looking at my vision board when I wake up in the morning and right before I go to bed. I have my vision board displayed in open view in my bedroom so when ever I walk pass it, I can see it.

2. Believe: Really believe this can one day happen for you. Believe that you are worthy to receive anything good in your life.

Jeremiah 29:11 KJV

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

3. Take at least 15 minutes daily to concentrate on your vision board. Take inventory of what you are asking to come into your life, by doing so, you are ingraining the images into your subconscious mind because what you pay attention to in your life is what you are attracting to you.

For example, you want to cut out eating sweets from your diet, but you are watching TV shows about baking desserts and yummy treats. On your job, people are constantly bringing doughnuts, cakes and snacks, and you are around this all day.

What do you think is going to happen eventually? You are going to give in to the temptation because those images are ingrained in your mind from you paying attention to them all day long.

4. Visualize yourself with your goals and dreams. Imagine what it would feel like to obtain your goals and dreams. Pretend that you are actually living your new life when you look at your vision board.

Do not just look at your board but actually feel all those wonderful feelings as you are pretending as if you’ve already obtained the goals and dreams on your vision board. What you are doing at this moment is engaging your faith.

Remember when you were a kid and you engaged in pretend play? You were so happy and so engaged in the process of play, that you got so wrapped up in it and forgot it was just play.

You would even get into an arguement with your friends, sisters and brothers about, “it’s my red car” and neither one of you owned a car but in that moment it became real for you.

Take that same childhood naivety into your pretend play while visualizing yourself with your new life.

Romans 15:13 KJV

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

5. Say the scriptures and confessions on your vision board out loud, so it sinks down into your subconscious mind and heart.6. Choose to share your vision board with people you really trust and with your purpose partners (someone who is just as invested in seeing your visions, goals and dreams come to pass)

If you do not have anyone in your life that you can share your vision board with, then keep it between you and the Heavenly Father.

7. The benefit of sharing your vision board with someone you trust and who believes in you, is to have a partner to play your childhood game with (Pretend Play).

The both of you get together and start pretending that you are driving in your Lexus 570 and you are traveling to Maui tomorrow and you gotta hurry up so that you won’t miss your flight. It’s lots of fun to do. I play this game with my husband a lot!

8. Stay away from doubting Thomas and negative Nancy. These are people who causes you to doubt, abort or cancel your dreams and goals altogether.

The moment you realize that a person is negative in an area where you are trusting God to manifest for you, shut it down and stop talking to that person about that subject! Stop sharing with them immediately.9. Never come into agreement with anyone who is speaking opposite of what you believe God to manifest in your life. You should speak back to anyone who is being negative about your dream.

Single ladies, if you want to be married, when you hear someone say there are a shortage of men, you say, in a kind manner (you do not have to be rude), girl men are plentiful and besides, I only need the one that God hand picked just for me.

10. Always pray to the Heavenly Father and ask for guidance as you navigate to your new life.

Ask Him to give you His best in every situation and detach from the outcome.
Don’t try and figure out how it is going to happen. Your job is to believe and trust God.11. Read books and look at testimonies online of others who have obtain their dreams in the areas you want to obtain yours. This will keep your faith engaged in your goals and dreams.

12. When the spirit of truth prompt your heart to do something towards your dreams and goals, take fast actions.

13. Lastly, you never talk against the things you believe to happen for you on your vision board by doubting because it will take longer to come or not come to pass at all.

James 1:6-7

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord

These are my 13 principles I use to manifest my goals and dreams on my vision board. Now go and create you a masterpiece Vision Board.

How I Declutter My Home For The New Year!

table-white-home-interior (1)I like to declutter my environment at least 4 times a year. I like to declutter around the changing of the seasons. I will declutter a week before or after the new year, in the spring time, summer time, and in the fall. I believe every season brings new changes and new revelations.

I love reflecting over my life and my goals in each season. I am always listening inwardly to hear if the Holy Spirit wants to reveal important information to me. I also love changing out my fashion style with what I call, “my colors for the season.” I will write another blog post about how I invested in a fashion and style coach, “The Brown Closet” but for now, click the link to pay The Brown Closet a visit.

There is something about the New Year that makes me want to hit the reset button and start all over again. I love having systems in place in my home and decluttering is one of the systems I use to keep things organized. It always make me feel like I have a new start.pexels-photo-110215This year thou, I feel different. I don’t know how to explain it but it feels like a major shift has taken place in my heart. My New Year’s theme is a “New Year, a New You.” A part of that is really being intentional about changing some bad habits I had in 2017. Like being on time to scheduled appointments. I have 5 people that I am responsible for. I have to make sure they have what they need before we walk out of the door and I did not include myself in that number. I used this as an excuse to not be on time to places. But this year, I am going to intentionally put a plan in place to help me get to places on time. I will give myself lots of grace if things comes up that are out of my control.

This year I am decluttering my schedule, my time and my focus so that I will have breakthrough success. When I do my seasonal decluttering, I have items on my list that can never take a back seat to be decluttered, because if these things are not monitored, they can get out of control. These items are papers, clothes, shoes, toys and homeschool materials. Some people never get rid of things in their environment and it just accumulates.

I have 4 children all under the age of 12, it is challenging to keep things organized. My household includes 6 people. That is six people with things, stuff and items living in one environment. Imagine with me for a moment, if I never got rid of things from the time I got married and gave birth to my children, up until date, that would be 17 years of accumulation in a 1240 square foot of living space. The results would be stifling!books-1617327_1920I use to have 3 bookshelves but now I have just one. I got rid of the other ones because I want to live a more simpler and intentional lifestyle. The less you have in your environment, the less you have to clean and maintain the upkeep of it all. The less you have in your environment, the bigger your space feels.

I can only read one book at a time. I realize when I am done reading a book, I rarely go back to read it again. If I want a book, I can just check it out at my local library. The same goes for my children.

Unless you have someone that comes in and clean your home, what I found out is that, moms are always trying to stay on top of the cleaning, laundry, cooking, schedules and trying to keep things orderly. A lot of times we moms get frustrated and overwhelmed because we are trying to maintain the upkeep of the things we are constantly bringing in our homes for our families. It is exhausting to keep cleaning up the same old things you’ve just cleaned up 2 hours ago.

When I get disorganized, the things I instantly want to tackle are the dishes, paper/trash, clothes, shoes, toys, laundry and homeschool materials. I have to constantly stay on top of those items.blue-glass-flower-decoration (1)When I tackle my seasonal decluttering, I make sure to get every single detail. I clean out every cabinet, every closet, I get rid of any clothes that have stains, rips and are too small. I get rid of furniture that is broken and is not working for the space. I get rid of any appliances that are broken and dishes that are chipped. I get rid of shoes that are to little and worn out. I declutter homeschool material and papers, I clean out every drawer, I declutter linen, I get rid of toys that my children have lost interest in and are broken. I declutter medicine, I declutter food that is in the cabinets and refrigerator that have expired. I declutter books and I wipe down and clean everything; walls, doors, ceiling fans, light fixtures, carpet, furniture and floors.

I use to have a beautiful glass coffee and end table, glass vases, and the pretty decorative balls that sit on the coffee table but when I started having kids it was too much work to monitor it all and keep the glass mark free. I had to redefine my style of decor because the season had changed in my life. I remember trying to hold on to those glass tables because thy were one of a kind and we paid a lot of money for them, but my husband was adamant about letting them go after one of my children bumped their face on the glass. Those items were not working for us anymore.

Sometimes we try to hold on to seasons that have come and is now gone and God wants to do something new with our lives. If we are too attached to things and if our identity is wrapped up in them, we can become stuck in a formal season.

I would love to hear about ways you keep your life decluttered. Leave a comment. Follow me on social media by clicking the links down below. To follow me on Instagram click here.

God’s Way verses the World’s Way On Money and Debt

Holy Bible and money

Today I want share with you a biblical perspective on how we (believers of the Bible) should handle our finances. I also want to do a comparison of how we’ve always been taught by the world’s system to handle our finances, verse God’s way of handling our finances. I will also expose the truth about debt from a Biblical perspective.

I must warn you that if you have been living with credit cards, and getting loans for everything you own and paying monthly payments on your possessions, this is going to shake your confidence because what I am about to expose you to right now, probably goes against everything you’ve been taught and everything you know about money and debt. It takes having real trust in the Heavenly Father to handle your money the Biblical way, verse the world’s way.

You will find out that when the rug is pulled out from under you, and what I mean by that is, when all of your options are taken away from you to use other people’s money to fund your material possessions and your dreams, that your security has been in the world’s system and not in God’s system. True financial security comes when you owe no man but to love him, false security comes when you are a slave to the lender and have borrowed the lender’s money to fund your dreams or your possessions.

I want you to know this blog post is all about me as well, I don’t get a pass. I was hesitant to release this blog post because I didn’t want to sound like I had it all together. My husband and I are still working towards handling our finances the way the Bible instructs us to. It’s hard and tempting, going back and forth and dancing with what the world offers you, verses taking a stand to handle your money God’s way. I am not judging you and I do not have it all together, but my husband and I are working on a better financial future. I have been released to release this blog post, in the hopes of getting believers of the Bible to see the truth verses a lie on how we been taught to handle our finances.

Just because the world deems it normal to take out loans of every kind, apply for credit cards, make vows, pledges, give money and possessions without truly looking at all the other bills you owe or counting up the cost, do not make it the Biblical thing to do.

We live in a country where debt is supreme, but what I am learning from a biblical perspective is that Cash is King. If you do not have the money in your possession to fund it, then you save up for it and pay cash or you live without it, or God will bless you with it through someone else, instead of becoming a slave to the lender and borrowing it. Now I know we are taught about good debt and bad debt, like borrowing money to fund your degree, a home and business but from a Biblical perspective all debt is bad.

I know most people have no other option but to borrow funds for their schooling, home and business, it will help put them in a better financial situation. But even in these cases, you are still a slave to lender until you set yourself free from the snare of the fowler, you are not exempt, neither are you the exception to the rule when it comes to handling your finances the biblical way.

Any debt from a biblical perspective is being a slave to the lender. This article is only talking about what the bible has to say about money.

Now I love Dave Ramsey philosophy about money because it comes from a biblical view and after listening to his talk on money, it is a goal of mine to adopt a biblical perspective on how I handle my finances.

Now let us dispel, expose and learn some truths about money from a biblical perspective verses the world’s perspective. Click this link to learn 250 Bible verses about money.

1. Debt : a state of being under obligation to pay or repay someone or something in return for something received : a state of owing deeply in debt to creditors.

The world offers us so many ways to get ourselves into debt, like credit cards, car loan, mortgage loan, business loan, payday loan, furniture loan, appliances loan, co-signing for some one else’s debt, making pledges, student loan, banks are offering a program where you can borrow against your own money therefore making you in debt to yourself while they are making interest off of your money, and if you forfeit the rules that they established for you to borrow against your own money, your money becomes the bank money and you loose your money to the bank. Leasing cell phone, borrowing money from friends, families and foes. It is so easy to get into debt.

Now let’s read what God thinks about all of this, put your seat belt on, you are about to see things in the word of God that you probably have never seen before.

This is God’s will for his people:

Deuteronomy 15:6
For the Lord your God will bless you as He has promised you, and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow; and you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.

Deuteronomy 28:12
The Lord will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.

God said, when we are trusting in him and live our lives after his ways, He would bless us and we will lend to many nations, BUT YOU WILL NOT BORROW, we will rule over nations, but they will not rule over you. God said he will open up his good store house, the heavens, to give us rain to our land in its season, and to bless the works our hands, and you SHALL LEND TO MANY NATIONS BUT YOU SHALL NOT BORROW!

Now tell me, how are we going to be lenders, if we are borrowing other people’s money?

We have disqualified ourselves from this scripture when we borrow money because God’s tells his people that they will lend and not borrow, this is our covenant right with God. Every time we get ourselves into debt we forfeit this covenant.

In fact Proverbs 22:7 tells us,

Proverbs 22:7
The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower becomes the lender’s slave.

Anytime you take on a loan, borrow money from someone or make a vow to someone to give them something, whether you’ve signed your name on the dotted line by saying you are going to pay this money back or you’ve entered into an oath or agreement or a pledge with your mouth, you have now become that person or institute slave!

They now rule over you, from this scripture they are the ones that are rich, now you are the one who is poor because you did not have the cash in your hand or in your bank account to pay for the items you wanted at the time the full amount of payment was needed.

The Bible has a lot to say about a person who borrows money from others and do not pay it back, the Bible cause that person wicked!

Psalm 37:21
The wicked borrows and does not pay back, but the righteous is gracious and gives.

But in that same verse, it talks about the righteous is gracious and gives. Righteous people are principle people, they are courteous and kind. They desire to help others. They think about how their actions effect others and their family. Righteous people do things the way the Bible instructs them to. They count up the cost before entering into covenants. They are people of integrity. They rather not live above their means. They give because they have enough to give without robbing peter to pay Paul. (This is my take on it.)

Exodus 22:14
If a man borrows anything from his neighbor, and it is injured or dies while its owner is not with it, he shall make full restitution.

We live in a time where people words have lost it’s power, now you have to get things in writing. Years ago you can do a handshake and believe what the other person tells you when you loan them money, clothing and your car etc. As believers, the Bible tells us if we borrow anything from anyone, and it gets damaged, lost or stolen, we are to make full restitution of what we borrowed. If we do not make good on the word or our vow, we are considered wicked!

Lets look at what the scripture say in the Bible about making an oath, pledge or a vow.

Proverbs 17:18 ESV One who lacks sense gives a pledge and puts up security in the presence of his neighbor

Proverbs 17:18 ISV A man who lacks sense cosigns a loan, becoming a guarantor for his neighbor.

When we co-sign for other people to enter into debt, the Bible says we lack sense! That person is not credit worthy or they could have gotten the loan themselves. If they do not pay their debt, that debt now becomes yours because you’ve made a vow to the lenders stating, “I will pay off their car, house or item if they don’t honor their vow with you.”

What is a Pledge?

1. a formal or solemn promise or agreement, esp to do or refrain from doing something.

2. collateral for the payment of a debt or the performance of an obligation the condition of being collateral (esp in the phrase in pledge).

3. a sign, token, or indication: the gift is a pledge of their sincerity.

This is the only thing from scripture that a follower of Christ is suppose to owe a person.

Romans 13:8
Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

Let us read the scriptures about borrowing money

Psalm 37:21
The wicked borrows and does not pay back, but the righteous is gracious and gives.

2 Kings 4:7
Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt, and you and your sons can live on the rest.”

The world sends us messages, mail and even encourages us to get into debt. They make it so easy for us we to qualify for a loan to purchase the things that we want. They don’t care about your previous history of filing for chapter 13 and your poor credit history. They have created programs designed just for people with a bad money history.

Colossians 2:8 ESV See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.

God is telling us follow his ways and not the ways of the world!

Matthew 5:33 ESV “Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform to the Lord what you have sworn.’ But I say to you, Do not take an oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, or by the earth, for it is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. And do not take an oath by your head, for you cannot make one hair white or black. Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.

James 5:12 ESV But above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath, but let your “yes” be yes and your “no” be no, so that you may not fall under condemnation.

Lets sum it all up. From these scriptures the Bible says do not make an oath, vow or pledge. When you do, it is not of God or comes from God. It is not wise. Let your yes be yes and your no be no. Anything other than your yes or no, comes from the evil one. If you have the money in your hand or bank account give it or buy it. If you don’t, do not entrap or enslave yourself by making vows, oaths or pledges. If you owe anyone or made a pledge pay your vow, or you would be considered wicked!

THE POWER OF LETTING GO! A key element in manifesting anything in your life.

stock-photo-transportation-people-colours-lagos-nigeria- (2)

I am reminded of a time when I so badly wanted to visit the beautiful continent of Africa.

Africa is where my husband is from. Africa is where my ancestors are from. It seemed like everything was coming up to stop me from making this dream a reality.

Here are a list of things that came up:

My husband and I had other obligations and things that needed our financial attention. If he traveled, then I needed to stay home to take care of our business that he ran. I was either pregnant and couldn’t travel or I had just given birth to a baby. We also had another business that I ran that required me to be hands on, if I didn’t work it, the monies stop flowing. It seemed like circumstances was not lining up for me.

I even accused my hubby for not wanting to take me to the place he grew up.

But the truth is, my husband wanted everything to be comfortable for me when we arrived in his hometown. He wanted my first time visiting the place he grew up to be an amazing experience.

I assured him that I can handle anything. I am a girl who has been through something. I didn’t grow up with a silver spoon in my mouth. It didn’t matter where I stayed, I wanted to see where my ancestors were from. I could feel Africa in my bones.

It seemed like this dream of going to Africa was taking forever. I would have words back and forth with my husband about it, I made it a real issue. My husband assured me that we will go Africa and all I needed to do was trust and be patient. But my patience was running out.

So one day, I decided to let go of the anxiousness of going to Africa. I truly let it go in my heart. I decided to be content with it, and not let it ever be an issue between my Husband and I.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6)

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” – Hebrews 13:5

  • Yes It happened, and it happened so fast! My time had come! The opportunity to visit Africa finally presented itself to me.
  1. I didn’t own my business anymore, we didn’t have any major financial obligation. I wasn’t pregnant. I wasn’t breastfeeding my son anymore. My babies were at the age that they could have a babysitter without me being in town. All of my circumstances were lining up for me.
  • But now all of a sudden, I had some resistance towards going to Africa. I remember saying to God, “you are going to make me go aren’t you?” At that time, I was not willing to part from my babies for that long period of time. I even told my husband, “you go without me, I don’t want to go.” I truly struggled! The only people I could trust to watch after my kids could not watch my children while I was in Africa.
  • Now here I was telling God and my husband that the timing wasn’t right. I asked God, “who is going to watch my babies while I’m in Africa and who could I trust? The only people I could trust with my kids for that long period of time were my parents and my oldest daughter. My daughter had to work and my parents were traveling on the same dates I would be traveling to Africa.

faith-612460_1920But God! He is faithful.

One day, while talking to a friend and telling her that I have an opportunity to go to Africa but needed someone who I could trust to watch my children before I could even entertain the offer, she told me that she also had an opportunity to take a trip out of the country and needed a babysitter to watch her child. She asked me if we could exchange babysitting services.

When I tell you that everything lined up for me, I mean everything. Oh my God! God supernatural assigned his angelic host to escort me to Africa. On top of that, God blessed me with a mini vacation! I had time alone, away from the kids while I traveled to retrieve my passport and my Nigerian visa.

Listen to all I had to go through to get to Africa. God provided for me supernaturally every step of the way! He assigned people who showed me favor to get me to Africa. I could feel the prayers of my husband and the intercessory prayer warriors in Africa, praying for my journey to Africa!

I needed to update my passport, and at the time I would be traveling to Africa, my passport would not be ready if I sent it through the mail. So I had to travel to Chicago because they give out passports on the spot. Yes! Mission accomplished, I received my passport!

But I needed a Nigerian visa to visit Nigeria, and now I had to travel to Atlanta to get a Nigerian visa. So I traveled to Atlanta, but when I arrived they told me that they didn’t not have anymore visas and I needed to go to New York if I wanted a Nigerian visa. They also told me that it was a holiday for them, and they were taking off and all of the Nigerian Embassy would be closed and I only had that day and the next day to make that happened, I didn’t know what to do! I said what! You guys are suppose to keep Visas in stocked, that is why you guys are an Embassy.

I didn’t want to travel to New York, and I felt like I did all this traveling for nothing! The Embassy in Atlanta told me all the information they could tell me and I was left to figure the rest out on my own. I heard a lady say I could over night the forms and fees if I can get some one in their processing center who would receive it and process my forms. That was my only hope! I told myself if only I could talk to someone at the New York Embassy. I attempted to call and could not get anyone but a recorder.

I was frustrated and was about to give up but I heard in my spirit, “call again,” and I pushed a different button. I got a lady who works in the processing center. She gave me so much favor. She told me what to do and gave me the number to her direct line. My husband and I worked hard to get everything we needed to process this Visa. We paid all of the fees and filled out all of the forms and sent it overnight. I did all of this while I was still in Atlanta and my husband was at home in St. Louis. The next day, I had my Nigerian visa in my hand! I traveled by bus, airplane, car and train to retrieve my passport and visa. On my way home from Atlanta, God had me to minister to someone who had just gotten out of prison and blessed him with a book that I hoped changed his life.

I love my husband even the more after visiting his beautiful family. I was forever changed after visiting Africa. God used my niece in-law and sister in-law Adeline and Pastor Enohor to bring me to Africa. My niece in-law Adeline, asked Pastor Enohor and I to speak at her workshop Girl Arize.  We formed a bond that day, and Pastor Enohor asked my husband and me to speak at a big conference she holds in Africa every year based on a book she wrote called End of Discussion.

I was on a divine assignment from God, I was able to minister to the people in Africa. God had me to deliver a special word to the people in Africa. I am so every grateful to God, my husband, my babysitter, my niece and sister in-law and all of the people God used to make my dream a reality.

I had the most amazing time while I was in Africa. I received the royal treatment while I was there. My people loved on me! I felt like I was home! Every thing I dreamed Africa would be superseded my expectation. I was in awww the whole time I was there. My bones oozed with excitement and my face never lost it smiled.

Africa was beautiful. Looking at the people as they hustle and bustle was beautiful. Shack houses, huts and big beautiful homes and building were beautiful. Watching thousand upon thousands of people working for themselves to feed their families both kids and adults was beautiful. Watching the traffic and crowded  buses, motorcycles and scooters rides was beautiful.

Life for some people in Africa maybe hard but Africa is rich in resources. Everything may not be idea living for some Africans and the struggle definitely real. I am not down playing that, but I chose to focus on the beauty of Africa instead of the negative stigmas.

Trust God, and then let go if you are feeling stressed out, overwhelmed or anxious that it is taking to long for your dreams or prayers to manifest.

Letting go is not giving up the dream. Letting go is allowing, allowing God to be God and you to be content in your current circumstances. God will work out all of the details for you. He is working everything out for your good.

Every step of the way was a divine connection for me. God lined up things at the right time because I chose to let it go.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose. – Romans 8:28

And our great big God would do the same thing for you, if you just trust him!

6 Principles Single Ladies Need To Have In Place To Attract Boaz!/Principle #5

Hello Ladies, we are coming to an end of “6 Principles Singles Ladies Need To Have in Place To Attract Boaz” We are on principle #5.

I only have one more principle to tackle and that would end our series. I am adding a bonus blog post for Single Ladies with children, so please stay tuned for that blog post. I suggest you click this link to read all of the other principles.

Most people in the world do not know that they can declare their season. They think, they have to just take, what life throws at them. God gave you the power and the ability to change your season.

Things will remain the same in your life if, you do not know that you have the power to change it, as long as you feel powerless to change it, and if you do nothing about!

Declaring your season comes from Job 38-13 Have you ever in your life commanded the morning, and caused the dawn to know its place, that it might take hold of the ends of the earth, and the wicked be shaken out of it.

God asked Job have he ever in his life commanded his morning, that it might take hold of the ends of the earth and the wicked be shaken out of it.

God gave us the power to command things to be removed out of our life and he gave us the power to call in our season. What I love about different seasons, is that different things grow according to the seeds that you have planted, if you are planting destructive seeds, then that is what will grow for you. If you have planted good seeds, then your seeds will yield amazing fruit.

Single Ladies, I really need you to get this principle, because this principle is going to lead you to your breakthrough. If you have paid attention to any of my blog posts, they have to do with this principle right here. Seeds time, declaring, calling in your harvest, planting good seeds.

So how do you do that? How do you call in your season? You can find out in the next scripture.

Job 22:28 says: You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your ways.

When your heart is pure before God and you want to do things God’s way, you can decree a thing and it will be established for you.

A decree means: an official order issued by a legal authority. God is saying; He has given you the power and the authority to order your days, months, and years and the way in which you order it, is what will be established for you.

To declare means: to say something in a solemn and empathetic manner. Meaning, the words that you declare must be heartfelt and true for you and you must be clear in what you want for your life. Because what you speak on a daily basis about your life, will be enforced by your words. Whatever has been coming out of your mouth is creating the life you have right now. Whether it is good or bad, what you are declaring is creating it and the light will shine on your ways. You want to know what you been speaking or thinking about your life, look around you! Look at your relationships, environment, job, habits, finances, kids, etc. The light is shed on all areas of your life!

Your thoughts and words are seeds!

If you can change your thoughts and your words to that of opulence, abundance, wholesomeness, wealth, love and forgiveness, you can have an amazing life.

Plant good seeds by speaking exactly what you want to see come into your life and your environment. You also have to put right action with what you are speaking. For example, you want to stop a certain addiction, right action would be to never frequent the places, or watch things on TV  that causes you to fall back into the behavior.

I am reminded of a story about a woman named Hannah,

Hannah was married to a man named Elkanah. Back in those days, men married more than one wife. Elkanah also had another wife named Peninnah. Peninnah bore for her husband, sons and daughters, but Hannah had none. Hannah was really effected by the fact that she could not bore children for her husband. The scripture says, the Lord closed Hannah womb. Why did the Lord close her womb? It did not say. But Elkanah loved Hannah more and whenever the day came for Elkanah to sacrifice, he would give portions of the meat to his wife Peninnah and to all her sons and daughters.

But to Hannah he gave a double portion because he loved her. And because the LORD had closed her womb, her rival kept provoking her in order to irritate her. This went on year after year. Whenever Hannah went up to the house of the LORD, her rival provoked her till she wept and would not eat. Elkanah her husband would say to her, “Hannah, why are you weeping? Why don’t you eat? Why are you downhearted? Don’t I mean more to you than ten sons?

Once when they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh, Hannah stood up. Now Eli the priest was sitting on a chair by the doorpost of the LORD’s temple. In bitterness of soul Hannah wept much and prayed to the LORD. And she made a vow, saying, “O LORD Almighty, if you will only look upon your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the LORD for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head.”

As she kept on praying to the LORD, Eli observed her mouth. Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard. Eli thought she was drunk and said to her, “How long will you keep on getting drunk? Get rid of your wine.” “Not so, my lord,” Hannah replied, “I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the LORD. Do not take your servant for a wicked woman; I have been praying here out of my great anguish and grief.”

Eli answered, “Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him.”She said, “May your servant find favor in your eyes.” Then she went her way and ate something, and her face was no longer downcast

Hannah had to say to herself no more! No more is my enemy going to make a spectacle of me. No more am I going to go another year feeling shame, unworthy, down trodden and cast out of the favor of God. No more of feeling jealous of Peninnah for receiving her blessing year after year. The scripture said, she couldn’t even eat. Which says to me, she was fasting. Hannah got up from that table (and I am paraphrasing) and said; this will be the last day I live without my promise! I am declaring my season.

I am getting ready to get before my God and change my heart so I can receive the blessing of God for my life. And just like Hannah, you are going to have to do the same thing. The situation upset Hannah so, that she had to do somthing about it. She went into her war room and cried out to God and he granted her favor! Then when she received her answer she ate something. The next morning she rose up to worship her God.  And then she made love to her husband and concieved and gave birth to her promise. Her son was born and she named him Samuel.

Hannah wanted a child but what do you want from the Lord ? A husband after God’s own heart. Right now, I want you to declare your season! Go into your war room and pour out your heart before God. Tell him all about it, he can turn it around for you!

When you are believing God for any promise, do not come into agreement with anyone that wants to destroy your seed. Remember your seeds are your thoughts and your words.

When thoughts comes across your mind and it does not line up with what God’s words says and if it does not line up with what you are believing for, speak back to the thoughts and speak back to those words that is trying to destroy and kill your seed!

For example, a thought comes across your mind,” who wants to married me, I have a past that I am ashamed of.” You speak back to that thought, God says, “He has separated my sins as far as the east is from the west and he remembers it no more and therefore I do not remember it either.” When my husband finds me, he will love me just the way I am. He is a man of strong forgiveness and will never repeat or hold my past against me.

If you are around other woman and they are saying, there are no good men left, you speak back to them and say, “Ladies yes it is, God has my good God fearing husband reserved just for me, and at any moment, he will find me. You better not come into agreement with thoughts and words that is opposite of what you are believing for because it is trying to destroy your crops.

I want to teach you to get clear on anything. I use this technique that is called a “clarity statement,” it helps me to get clear so I can pray for exactly what I want.

Get out a piece of paper, I want you to draw a line in the middle of the paper. On one side of the paper, I want you to write down things you do not want and like. On the other side of the paper, I want you to write things I want and like.

So here’s how it should look. I will use a situation I went through when I wanted to have more children as an example.

Things I do not want or like

1. Not being able to carry my baby

2. Not knowing what the problem was

3. Being fearful of losing the baby

4. Uncaring Doctor’s

5. The feeling of not being in control

6. Having an incompetent cervix

7. Having fibroids

Things that I want or l like

1. I want to carry my baby to full term

2. I want to know what the problem is

3. To have assurance and trust that I was going to carry this baby to full term

4. Caring considerate doctor who is concern about what is going on with me and my situation

5. I want to feel in control

6. I want a strong tight healthy cervix that can carry my baby to full term

7. I wanted the fibroids to be completed gone

Now the list of things you do not like or want, crossed them out by making a big X. You are no longer allowed to talk about what you do not want or like. Never!

I want you to take some scissors and cut up the middle of that list, and the list of things that you want and like has now become your new prayer and positive confession statements. Throw away the list you do not want or like.

I found every scripture about my situation to make it more believable to me, and I put it with my positive confession statement.

So now, my confession everyday was what I wanted and it brought great feeling on the inside of me. My assurance was there and my trust in God was there. I had such a peace that it was already done for me. Key! I visualized it as I said my faith and positive confession.

Down below is my clarity statement, feel free to copy the beginning statement in highlight and write in your things you do want or like after the highlighted statement. Make it into a believable sentence that make sense to you. Just like I had to make mines make sense to me.

 Clarity Statement

I am in the process of attracting all that I need to do, know and have to attract my ideal child bearing situation.

I love knowing that my idea child bearing situation allows me to carry my baby to full term.

I love the idea that I always know what is going on with my body and child bearing situation.

More and more I have an assurance and trust God that I am going to carry my baby to full term and my baby will be strong and healthy with a very strong heart beat.

I am excited that I have a doctor that cares about me, my baby and my situation. My doctor is both kind and considerate of me.

More and more I am feeling in at peace of what’s going on with my child birth situation.

I love how it feels to have a tight, healthy and closed cervix that is strong and able to carry my healthy baby, who has a strong heart beat to full term.

I am excited at the thought of God healing my body and I am excited about being fibroids free.

Now get every scripture from the Bible to support your dream or goal and began to incorporate them with your faith confession. Use this format to make your own clarity statement.

I hope this blog post helps you to declare your season. I would love to hear from you, let me know how this blog post have helped you, and follow me on Instagram, Facebook and twitter.

6 Principles Single Ladies Need To Have In Place To Attract Boaz/Principle #4

Ladies we finally made it to principle #4 which is

Please click the links in green to read the previous principles.

Principle #1, What you need to be and what he needs you to be

Principle #2, Enjoying your own company

Principle #3, The baggage of bitterness, hatred, strife, and unforgiveness,

Principle #3, The baggage of jealousy, envy, covetousness and strife

Principle #3 The baggage of “sexual sins and the spirit of lust and seduction”

Confidence by dictionary.com means: full trust; belief in the powers, trustworthiness, or reliability of a person or thing. A feeling of trust in a person or thing. 2. Belief in one’s own abilities; self-assurance .

True confidence comes only when you have faith in God, and faith in who God says that you are and what he created you to be, period. This is the foundation of true confidence.

I am going to keep this principle real simple for you, and if you can just believe it, your mindset will shift from what you thought confidence was, to having real and true confidence that came with you from the moment you were born.

In other words, if your confidence is in anything other than you knowing who you are in God and who God created you to be, it is false confidence.

True confidence is not based on your looks, race, color, hair, body shape, how much money you have, your educational background, how many degrees you have, what kind of car you drive, how big your house is, if you are married, if your are single, it is not based in how many kids you birth or what neighborhood you live in and how many business you own. These are the things that the world place there confidence in.

All of the things that I just named are external, and when your self esteem is wrapped around the external things, when they are taken away from you, your confidence and self-esteem are taken away as well.

Romans 12:3-11
“For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

Lack of confidence comes when you do not believe in your own abilities, when you do not believe in your own greatness, when you do not know the power that have been given to you by God. Lack of confidence comes when someone have said things about you that is contrary to the word of God or when you have thought and said things about yourself that is contrary to the word of God and you accepted it as truth. Lack of confidence comes when you think more highly of someone, than you think of yourself.

Lack of confidence comes when you think you are not beautiful, valuable, smart, intelligent and brilliant. Lack of confidence comes when you think you are not enough, when you do not love the body, personality, looks, your race, and the family you grew up in. Lack of confidence comes when you think others have more than you do and when the thoughts you have about yourself are negative.

Human beings are always trying to fix up the outside by accumulating external things and stuff to make ones self feel good, look good and to feel confident. It is the inside that really needs a makeover.

Just because you see people with a lot of nice material things, degrees and money, doesn’t mean they are confident people. Some of your most insecure people uses things to mask what they are truly feeling on the inside.

I hope I am not sounding like you should not have material possessions and if you do, that means you are not confident. That is not what I am saying at all. I have seen a lot of people who have stuff and degrees and wealth but the stuff do not have them. They do not place their identity in titles and things. You will never know what they have if someone did not tell you or if they did not reveal it to you.

So how do confidence comes in to play when you want to attract your Boaz or a man after God’s own heart who is worthy of your love and who wants to take your hand in marriage?

When a man sees you, he sees the God that is in you. If you do not have a relationship with God, I suggest you start developing one with him right now, Pray this prayer.

Confidence means to put trust in the power of something or someone that is reliable and trust worthy. It also means having trust and believing in your God given abilities. God is the only one in the entire world that is trustworthy and reliable. Since we are made after his likeness and image, we share the same attributes as God, therefore we can believe in the God that is inside of us..

Genesis 1:26-27,  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Genesis 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good

When sin came into the earth, men vision became blurred to his original design and he did things to look for meaning and to find fulfillment on the earth, and some men sought it in everything but God, so today I am going to introduce you to your original design and give you some tools that you can use to help you gain your confidence back or to help you to recognize what true confidence is.

Single Ladies, God says, that you are fearfully and wonderfully made by him. He also says, that everyone of your hairs are numbered and that you are more valuable than many sparrows. God says, you are made a little lower than the angels and you are crowned with glory and honor.

Psalm 139:14 NIV 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,

Matthew 10:30-31 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s will. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore, you are of more value than many sparrows.

Psalms 8: 4-6 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

I looked up some very important words from the verses above, to let you know exactly what God had in mind, when he created you. These meanings alone, should change your mindset about yourself. If you can not be confident in anything else, be confident in what God says about you.

Valuable: having considerable monetary worth; costing or bringing a high price: having qualities worthy of respect, admiration, or esteem: of considerable use, service, or importance:

Crown: a wreath or garland for the head, awarded as a sign of victory, success, honor, a similar ornamental headgear worn by a person designated king or queen in a pageant, contest, etc.

Honor: honesty, fairness, or integrity in one’s beliefs and actionshigh respect, as for worth, merit, or rank: such respect manifested: high public esteem; fame; glory: the privilege of being associated with or receiving a favor from a respected person, group, organization, etc.:

Glory: something that is a source of honor, fame, or admiration; a distinguished ornament or an object of pride:a state of great splendor, magnificence, or prosperity. A state of absolute happiness, gratification, contentment.

How do we get back to all of these beautiful things God orginally created us to be, after the world, our families, teachers, relationships, our own thoughts and friendships told us or showed us something different from our original design.

This is just a tip of what God had in mind when he created you, it would take a 100 blog posts to tell you who you are, so please search the scriptures and find out who God created you to be.

You were born on earth with gifting, talents, skills, purpose and originality. There is no one on planet earth exactly like you. There is no one in the world who have your finger prints. In fact, Psalm 139:13-16 says in

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—and how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

It was God that created everything about you when you were born. You were perfect in Gods eye sight. All of your features were what God wanted you to have. He wants you to love what he created you to be.

If you are walking around with a damaged self image. All you have to do to change your self image and perception of yourself, is to change the way you are believing about yourself and replace it with God’s words and positive confession.

It is important that you do mirror techniques so you can change your perception of your self. If you do not love who God created you to be, how is someone else going to love the way God meant for you to be loved, and how are you going to love others the way they were meant to be love.

What is mirror technique? Mirror technique is when you look at yourself in the mirror and speak nothing but great things over yourself. You are using your own voice but God’s word and positive confession to prophesy to yourself and your future. You are also changing your self perception and developing confidence in God and yourself. I have include scriptures confessions by Joyce Meyer and Kyle Winkler. I have also included  and a bonus positive affirmation, pick one or choose all and listen to them and say them daily.

Love is not based on performance, love is not based in things, love is not based on if you do everything right, when you based love in any of these things, you are sure to set yourself up for failure in all of your relationships, even your relationship with God. Your confidence will be very low. No one will ever measure up in your eyes, not even yourself. You will always find fault with others or think you are better than they are.

Self acceptance, forgiving yourself and loving yourself helps you to do the same for others. Having a relationship with the Heavenly Father allows you the grace not to be perfect and to forgive yourself for not being perfect. When you mess up it is ok, because you love yourself enough to know you are accepted by God and he loves you unconditionally regardless of your imperfections.

In return, you do not have to put on airs for anyone. You can be yourself and love who God created you to be. You can appreciate your gifts, skills and talents and you can appreciate others as well. You would value where you come from and what family you were born in. You would not be ashamed of who you are because you did not grow up as prestigious as  others. You would not allow your past life to keep you feeling shame for the choices you’ve made out of a faulty belief system.

You will love all parts of your beautiful and wonderful self. If there is something that you can change do it, but you are not doing it so you can be accepted by others, you are doing because you love yourself and you want the best for yourself.

As you start loving yourself and being truly happy with who God created you to be and how God created you to look, you are going to walk with your head up high. Why not, my God said that you are a queen, you are valuable, your are royalty, your are worthy of honor and glory, you are favored, your are blessed, you are made in the image and likeness of God. Happiness is what he created you to be.

When you are confident, you smile a lot, because you have nothing to frown about. Even in your most challenging times you smile knowing God is working everything out for your good.

When you are confident you want to look your best. Regardless of your size, love all of your body. If you do not love your body yet, do the mirror technique until you can love it or until you can loose the weight you want to loose. I know we humans put a lot of attention on what others can see, but sometimes our outside body is a result of what is going on in our thoughts and heart. When we deal with the negative thoughts our bodies will line up. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and we should keep our temple healthy because we can live longer to fulfill our purpose on earth. Plus, when we are working out and eating healthy it gives us a glow and helps us to feel good, energetic and strong.

When you are confident, you do not compete with others, because the same God that created them, created you. You know they were uniquely created with wonderful amazing talents, gifting and skills just like you. Everything God created is beautiful. You are not jealous of anyone because to be jealous of them, would be to be jealous of God. You appreciate everything that God created. You compliment and encourage others because to do so, you compliment and encourage yourself. Your style, the way you wear you make-up, the way you style your hair, your personality is what set you apart from anyone else. True confidence comes from having a healthy perspective about your self, others and God, knowing it is by the grace of God that we have what we have.

Whatever someone else have, you can obtain it too, if you put your faith in actions for it. When you see others doing well say so, be confident in the God that you serve knowing if he did it for them, he can do it for you. All it takes is that you use your faith, like they used theirs.

As a result of believing what God says about you, it will help you to become a more confident you.

When you your husband notices you, he is going to be attracted to the essence of you. He is going to be attracted to the God that is in your heart. He is going to be attracted to that inner glow that is saying I love who God created me to be, all of me, regardless of my perceived flaws because I am fearfully and wonderfully made by God.

Strive to be all that God created you to be. When you do, it would bring the blessings, degrees, prosperity, wealth, houses, cars, etc. You are now striving out of wholeness from a birthright that you were always meant to have.

I hope the blog post helped you to know what true confidence is. I would love to hear from you, let me know how this blog post have helped you and follow me on Instagram, Facebook and twitter.

6 Principles Single Ladies Need To Have In Place To Attract Boaz/ Cont. Principle #3

This blog post is a continuation of principle #3 LETTING GO OF BAGGAGE.  Do not forget to read Principle #1 and Principle #2.

Single Ladies, I thought I was going to hit on these principles and move on, but I have to deeply dive into these subjects so you can get free from the strongholds that is keeping you stuck and unhappy. Happiness and joy are your potion and you need them before you can attract a healthy whole relationship to you. God wants his daughters whole in every area of their life. Negativity keeps things from attracting to you. I am dealing with these emotions and helping you to clear the negative energy that is blocking and repelling wonderful and amazing relationships and friendships from coming into your life.

Before I go any farther, we all have been victims of one or all of these negative emotions that I am getting ready to expose. It is ok to admit to yourself that these emotions are trying to over take you. Do not be in denial of these emotions because then, they will overtake you if you do not deal with them.

A lot of pride comes with having these emotions, because when we were little girls, we were told it was wrong to display these emotions. When these emotions would surface in our heart, we felt weak, ashamed and we hid our emotions from ourselves and we hid our emotions from other people.

What we do not realize is that these emotions always reveal themselves in the way we conduct ourselves with others. They show up through our body language, words, lack of words, deeds and actions.

If you are in tuned with the Holy Spirit, He will reveal the heart of men all around you. Now don’t go looking for things because you will always find something, but if you are purposefully keeping your heart cleanse of falsity and evil  intentions before the Lord, then things can be shown to you in the spirit realm.

I do not think you can have true confidence until you let go of baggage. Having baggage will always make you feel insecure. Because holding on to baggage is just masking itself in a scarcity mindset. A scarcity mindset is just living with fears. You think there is not enough for you or you are lacking something. In your own mind, you think there is someone that have, look and is doing better than you. You fear someone is going to take something from you.

Within your own self, you feel like you have to compete to stay on top, because you fear someone is going to out shine you or is rejecting you. You fear others decisions that they have made for themselves and for some reason you take it personally and began to reject them for the decision they have made for themselves. You guys it will take me like 5 blog post to expose this thing. So I am going to try and keep this post to 2,600 words at the most or I might have to add a second blog post to this because I want to uncover Satan tactics.

So you with hold, you with hold your support, forgiveness, love, time, attention, compliments your encouragement. You see things through a negative lens because having these emotions displayed in your heart are all negative. You are carrying real baggage, and  it must be dealt with so you can feel confident and so you can feel secure about yourself and so you can know how to deal with these emotions when it raises its ugly head.

For the single ladies who need this, I want to apologize to you for the way you grew up and the lack of love and attention you didn’t get from your parents or those that were in your life who didn’t love your properly. I am sorry if you were always compared to other people. Comparison always bring on a competitive spirit, whether it is you doing the comparison in your own mind, or someone else comparing you to others, it is not good. I am sorry if a parent was not in your life or a relationship that you were in left you feeling rejected and abandon.

It is time for you to deal with these negative emotions, because they are keeping you in bondage and you are pushing people away from you, and at the same time you are repelling people away from you. These negative emotions are destroying the amazing freedom Christ Jesus died for you to have.

Theses emotions are destroying families, friendship and relationships, breaking up marriages, business and churches. They are destroying nations and countries.

The moment you compare yourself with someone it leads to discouragement, discontentment and jealousy. Jealousy is a twin to envy and cousins to gossip and strife and every evil work.  What does the Bible have to say about this and how to overcome it.

There was a story in the Bible about a man named Saul who was the King of the Israelites he had a right hand man name David who killed Goliath. David respected and honored Saul just like he respected and honored God. When David, was a young boy, he defeated Goliath and won Saul’s daughter hand in marriage. Saul made David his right hand man. David grew up and became handsome and strong. David defeated many enemies for King Saul and the children of Isreal. But this is what the children of Isreal started saying  and singing about David. Saul only killed thousands and David 10 thousands, and this is how Saul felt in his heart towards David.

1 Samuel 18:8,9 And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom? 9 And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.

Anytime you stir up a competition amongst people, there will always be other people who feel like they do not measure up or see themselves as not valuable because they are not producing like someone else. Saul with in his self started to compare himself with David, while David was trying to do everything to win God’s approval, as well as Saul’s approval, Saul became suspicious of David from the moment people started to brag or talk about his achievements and when David started to achieve somethings that Saul did not achieve.

The jealousy and envy spirit is the spirit that all of us have to guard against. Saul became so envious of David that he started to gossip about David, find fault with him, Got with others to talk about him. Start telling lies about David. Start telling other people to watch him and spy on him and then his envy turned into strong hate and he wanted to kill David because he feared he would take his spot! Well yes, David destiny was to become King! And to do just as Saul had feared.

Instead of Saul becoming proud of David, encouraging him, supporting him and speaking well of him, he allowed the enemy to plant seeds of jealousy and envy in his heart towards him. David had done nothing wrong but supported Saul his whole Kingship. David had so much honor for Saul that he would not speak bad about the King even when he knew the King was trying to harm him. At first David was puzzled, because he knew he had followed protocol and had done everything right by the Kingship. David knew in his heart that he had done nothing wrong to King Saul or his Kingdom. This is where a lot of us miss it, so I am going to end this blog post by giving you the step to over come comparison, jealousy, envy and strife. But before I do I want to give you some breaking news.

There is greatness in all of us, God made everyone of us, it was genetics that gave you your features, eye color, hair color, hair texture, skin color, the family you were born into, but God was in control of all of that because He said,  Jeremiah 1: 5 KJB Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

God also sent you to earth for a purpose, He gave you your gifts, skills and talents. They all came from God. I know some situation was not favorable for you when you were born but even in that God hands has always been upon you. Try and celebrate others today, It is God who cause all of us to be here on the plant together, we are all called to shine! We all deserve to have an amazing life.

Romans 12:3-11
“For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

If you are going to be mad at someone, it should be God. He did the picking and choosing. Just know you too can have what someone else have, not in covetousness trying to take theirs, but believing that God can bless you with your own blessing. Exodus 20:17 ESV “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.”

You were purposefully created by God and so were others. Now the sad things is when we were babies some of our environments did not teach us just how beautiful and awesome we were and that we did not have to ever compare ourselves with each other because God created us different, unique and special. Here is a poem I want you to read by Marianne Williamson .

As long as you are on this earth there are going to be others that are more prettier than you, can do something better than you, have nicer things than you, have a better shape than you, smarter than you. But there is not anyone that can do you, Can’t no one out do you at being a beautiful expression of God. Celebrate who God created you to be, love yourself enough to think well of yourself and love other enough to think well of them as a child of God. So let us learn from David and Saul what to do and not do to overcome these negative emotions.

Saul’s is the one who ranked David in his kingship, when ever Saul gave David a mission he did it successfully, it was ok as long as Saul was getting all of the praise and glory, as soon as the women sang David praises, comparing David to Saul, that is when Saul started to become suspicious of David.

1. First, you have to purpose in your heart to guard your heart. You guard your heart by guarding your thoughts. Saul did not guard his heart, he allowed thoughts to come into his mind and he meditated on them. They produced covetousness, jealousy  envy, bitterness, strife and hatred in his heart to the point he wanted to kill David.

2. Second, when God is exalting someone even if you feel those negative emotions surfacing,  counteract those thoughts by praying nothing but good for that person. Bless the persons life every time the thoughts rises. Give that person a heartfelt worthy compliment from your heart. Even bless them financially if you can and if it requires it. The same God that created you, created them. If  it is their time to shine, the best thing you can do is support them. You do not know what that person had to go through to get to where they are today. Do not be negative towards them. Especially if this person has done nothing to you. Support people the way you want to be supported. Truth be told people always put you somewhere you are not yet, it may appear that you arrived but you are still trying to overcome feelings of can I really do this or not and looking at your own self with an critical eye.

3. It is some people aim to make other people jealous of them which is evil as well, because the person that is operating out of that spirit have evil intentions and does not show the love of Christ, especially if you are a Christian. You can not control how a person is feeling about you but you do not need make that your aim by doing things to make them feel jealous. God said we are to pray for each other and bare one another burdens. By all means walk in peace with one another. You can deflate these emotions in a person that might be jealous of you by always showing the love of Christ to that person, never pay evil for evil and always counteracting with what is good and also pay that person a worthy compliment as well. Try talking to that person if you can, sometimes it gives the person a different view of you. I do understand it is not our job to get people to like us but as Christian it is our job to walk in love.

4. David kept his heart right even thou Saul heart was evil towards him. There will be times when you do not know why people are treating you like they are and you would be questioning, did I do something to them or offend them in any kind of way. There will be opportunities for you to talk about that person to others but do not say a word against them to anyone, you keep your heart right at all times. I know we like to be heard and not look at in a negative light and we want to tell our side of the story but hold your peace and let God fight your battle. David did not say one bad thing about Saul because he feared God and his anointed one. If you already talked about a person that you have been displaying these emotions towards or they have displayed them towards you repent now, wipe your slate clean. Get back in right standing with God. You always take the high road by smiling, and being kind and showing the love of God to that person. Pray for the person as well.

4. At one point Saul was trying to kill David but David escaped Saul. He sent David away to be on his own. David prospered in everything he had done. Saul was afraid of David because God was with David and had departed from Saul. No matter how much Saul wanted to kill him, he could not and no matter how bad Saul wanted to entrap him, He could not. Please get your heart right with people and with God. You do not want to be like Saul who envied David until the day he died. God will prosper the person you are making your enemy in your mind and you will be shut out of the promises of God.

6 Principles Single Ladies Need To Have In Place To Attract Boaz!/ Principle #1

There are 6 areas that I am going to cover in this series and the 1st area that I am going to cover in this blog post is all about you.

Principle #1 What you need to be and what he needs you to be

Man giving woman flowers.

This is a topic that is dear to my heart. Before I got married I did not always live as a Extraordinary Single Lady. I am not speaking to you because I had it all together, but I am speaking to you as a person who has struggled with some of the same things you as a beautiful single lady is struggling with.

I did some inner work that I believed helped me to prepare myself before I got married. Every principle that I share with you, I practice them. I had to, because I wanted to feel good about me. I wanted my happiness to be based in my relationship with the Lord Jesus and not in someone else making me happy, so I did a lot of inner work on me before I actually got married. I believe the inner work that I did helped me to be more confident, to know my worth and to value myself as a woman, a Christian and as a child of God.

The inner work that I did on the inside of me helped me to know that I had options and that I did not have to settle for some guy that did not line up with my morals and standards. I got to the point where I did not look to any person to make me happy. I got to the point where I enjoyed my own company.

I had so many wrong ideas about what I needed to be before I attracted a mate. Things like you have to know who to cook, be domestic, look like a model, have a banging body and have your finances in order. You know all the things you read in the magazines or you learned from the world.

Today I want to presents some new ideas to you. What if I told you it doesn’t matter the color of your skin, the shape of your body, your educational background, the things you’ve done in your past, how many kids you have, If you are a domestic diva, and if you can cook like Rachel Ray.

What if I told you none of that matters when you want to attract the man of your dreams.

I know my title sounds catchy, but you will see that this whole message has to do with 2 things. Who God says that you are and who do you say that you are.

Today we are going to deal with your mindset! Now all of the things that I just listed in the paragraphs before are things we sometimes feel like we have to have to attract a man to us.

All of those things are additives and bonuses after you have discovered your purpose, worth and your value. They just makes your package look that much better to any potential suitor who wants to take your hand in marriage.

Now don’t get me wrong, when you value yourself as an Extraordinary Lady, you are going to want to keep your environment clean, look your best and take care of yourself financially because it do not feel good to have to rely on others to support you if you are a grown woman.

Now if you are still in college, I am not talking about you. But if you are solely relying on others to fully take care of you, it does not empower you or help you to feel confident as a woman to be relying on others. Even if you are still living at home with your parents, you need to find ways to create an income for yourself so you can have money to save and buy things you want and need. It is all about taking care of yourself mentally, physically and emotionally.

There are 6 areas that I am going to cover in this series and the 1st area that I am going to cover in this blog post is all about you.

What you need to be and what he needs you to be

to keep him interested in you and to be a challenge to him. Yes, even Christian woman. I know you are thinking if it is God there should not be any game playing, I don’t have time for games and no it is not a game. But there are somethings you need to have in place so that he knows you are not like every other woman who has allowed him to get what he want without a real commitment.

I am sure you have seen woman or perhaps yourself, that have been with a guy and have bent over backwards for him, you were the nice girl, you never really said no to him, you were the yes girl, he knew your heart was gold but he end up going with or marrying the other woman.

Why did he choose the other woman? He chose the other woman because she had something about her, that made him want to commit to her. I am only going to cover the first area in this blog post. You can subscribe to Breakthrough Blog 4 Women to read this 6 part series. I also wrote a book about this titled, “How to be an EXTRAORDINARY SINGLE LADY Principles, Values and Standards, to Have Before Your Boaz Arrives.”  The book goes more into depth and give more details about this subject, so if you want to know all of the  principles, I suggest you get a copy of the book. Just click the link in green and it will take you straight to my website where you can get a copy of the book.

What do you think set good quality woman apart from other women? It is being spiritual connected to God. So he is going to need you to have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Not a surface religious relationship with God, but a true rich God you are the air that I breathe type of relationship.

Because everything you are lacking in you right now is in God. God is the one that your true identity comes from. God created you and He knows you better than any man would ever know you.

God can make you feel whole inside. After having a true God encounter, you would never again go outside yourself looking for things and people to fulfill you. It doesn’t matter if human love did not love you the way you were meant to be loved, the only love you need to rely on is God’s love. God knew human love could not and would not sustain you. That is why he sacrificed his son Jesus on the cross for you, just to show you how valuable and worthy you are.

Now who has ever proved their love to you like that. Who has ever taken their only begotten son and sacrificed his life and died on the cross just for you? No one.

So why do we fall apart and feel rejected and not worthy when human beings do not have the capacity to love us to the standard that God loves us. No longer are you going to get validation from anyone in your life but God. And if someone compliments you, and say anything great about you, it is just a bonus to what you know to be true about yourself because your Heavenly Father already told you just how magnificent you already are.

A man needs someone to hold him accountable to be the best version of himself

Don’t get me wrong, men are just as spiritually in tuned to God as a woman is, but sometimes he is not as sensitive and intuitive as a woman may be. Sometimes a woman can make him see things in a totally different light and he will think you are amazing because he do not think like a woman.

Ladies there is something God put in a woman that is designed to help her husband but if you are not aligned with God how can you help him properly.

To help him best, your wisdom needs to come from God, and not from the world’s  wisdom. When you have God in your life you should have standards and morals. If we are reading our Bibles we should be patterning our life after the scriptures. But I do know everybody is at different levels and everyone get delivered at different times.

I know as a single lady I struggled with this flesh, I am not telling you this because I had it all together when I was single. But the Bible is truth. It is God’s word to us, to show us how we are to conduct ourselves as Christian. I am telling you my story so you do not have to struggle in your singleness like I did. God loves us, He wants the best for your life.

The scriptures are there not to deny us of our God given desires, but the scriptures are there to protect us from using our desires in a way that will harm our spirits, emotions and our body. The scriptures are there to protect us from getting hurt from others that mean us no good and have wrong motives and intentions towards us. The scriptures are there to  protect us from strife, unforgiveness, sickness and pain and to protect us from Satan tactics.

I wished I was as focused as I am now while I was single! I am not saying this so you can stay single, but I am telling you this because I want you to know just how powerful you are  as an Extraordinary Single lady, especially if you do not have kids.

You need to have purpose

You my beautiful Extraordinary Single Lady should  be experiencing quantum leaps in your purpose. What ever that may be. You have nothing but time on your hands to go back to school, if that is what you want to do. Start your own business, if that is what God leading you to do. Your Boaz when he finds you, he need to find you being busy with purpose. So he knows that you are a woman of focus and you do not have an open door policy that he thinks your time revolves around him. He needs to know, if he wants to spend time with you, he is going to have to rearrange his schedule because you are not just going to drop everything for him. That poses as a challenge to him and make you look very markable.

You have to love and value yourself enough that you don’t loose yourself when a man shows you a little attention. Some woman give to much, to fast in relationships. You are the prize. But don’t go over board with this either because you don’t want to be so tight on schedule that you turn him off but that is another blog post. Let me stay with the message I am trying to convey.

Single lady, you can live out your purpose without distractions. You do not have to have a man on your shoulders to be in ministry. Extraordinary single lady, do not allow anyone to put limits on you! What is God putting in your heart to do! What are you passionate about? You can do it. You can devote all of your time into it becoming amazing! Take the limits off your mind. Get in God’s face and ask him what is it that you should be doing in this season of your life. Did he called you to write a book, start a ministry, be a missionary. Now is the time to fulfill your mission, your calling. Are you called to be a brand, what is it! Do it.

Do not be afraid, you have what it takes just like anyone else. Now is the time for you to dream! You have to live with purpose. You should wake up every day excited about your life. Your life should be filled with amazing purposeful things.

Do not waste anymore of your days on insignificant things, stop during things just to fill up your day because you are unhappy, unfulfilled, lonely and bored with your life. You do not have time to be getting lonely. You should be going home and can;t wait to get in your bed because your purpose has taken up most of your day.

Purpose for you could be getting your life in order, cleaning and organizing your home, trying to get your life on a schedule so you won’t be overly stressed out. Decluttering and removing unwanted items out of your life. Removing toxic people and relationships out of your life. If you have children, being present with them, making sure you have a good relationship with your children. I will be writing to the single moms in a different blog post.

You are going to have to be a woman of prayer.

There shouldn’t be a day that goes by with out communicating with God. Talk to him like a real person. Tell him everything. Ask him for everything. Go to him first before you go to anyone. Tell him what you need, and be transparent with him. Do not run from his presence when you sin. Learn how to be intimate with God. You are going to have to learn how to pray before you get married, because when you get married, you are going to stay in prayer!

Your personalities are merging and you guys are raised up differently. You have your way of doing things and so do he. You are going to learn how to pray, so you can control your temper, you are going to learn how to pray so you can talk to your husband with respect when he says something to you that is going to hurt your feeling. You are going to need to learn how to pray to submit to his headship as the leader of your family. You are going to need to pray for discernment in certain situations. You need to learn how to listen to God’s voice in your life period.

Learn to depend and lean on God for everything. I mean everything! When your husband can’t produce a certain need for you or the family financially, you are going to have to ask God for it without putting pressure on your husband.

You gotta have standards

I want to talk more about setting standards for yourself because when you have standards you do not go for anything. What are your standards? What are those things that are non-negotiable? Our standards are a safe guard for us.

Our standards should be set for us by God and then we should have personal standards. For example, “What does the God say about premarital sex.” “What does the God say about being unequally yoked.” You are a believer of the Lord Jesus Christ and he is a believer of something else. You are a Christian but he is unsaved.

You do not smoke, but he do, is that a deal breaker for you? He is married but separated from his wife for 3 years. He is still legally married. What does the Bible say about that. He lied about having 6 children or he did not tell you he had children. What will you not put up with? Christian woman and woman who are not Christians feel like there is a shortage of men, so they are settling. Thy are tolerating anything from men. Allowing him to have a key to their house and driving their car. Why should he commit to you. You are giving him a wive statues with out the title!

You need to value yourself so much that you put up boundaries in all your relationships. You are always teaching people how to treat you. I can go on and on about this subject because this use to be me until I allow God to transform my mind. I am writing to you because I love my sisters and want to see them whole in every area in their life!.

Would love to connect with you, leave a comment telling me how this article helped you and follow me on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter

8 Ways to Slay Your Giants!

sport-match-football-giantsHave you ever went through a struggle and didn’t know how you would overcome it? Things were being thrown at you, that you had never experienced before.

Ladies, there are going to be situations in your life, that is going to require you to give your full attention to or else it will remain the same because you fail to stand up and speak against it.

I do understand, sometimes you do not want to face your giants because of fear of rocking the boat. Meaning, you do not want to be the elephant in the room. You do not want to be the one that disrupts the soil or Satan’s agenda.

But what I realize in this life is, if you want peace in your life, sometimes it will require you to stand up for your God given promises. I would love to just fight everything in prayer, but there are times when God would require you to face the very thing that you wish could just go away in prayer.

Sometimes, God is working some stuff out of you and is teaching you to be bold as a lion and to face the giants that stands before you. Things are being worked out of you like intimidation, fear and timidity. God is building you up on the inside and is replacing that fear with boldness and courage. If you sit back and allow things to happen in your life, you never have peace in that particular situation.

There are blessings, dreams, rights and covenants that have been given to you to possess and enjoy in this life, but you must cover them in prayer. Just because your blessings were freely given to you doesn’t mean that forces of darkness wants to see you enjoy your God given blessings.

You can not just sit back and allow your blessings to be without watering of the word of God. You have to give your full love, time and attention to them. You must learn to wage war on the spirit of darkness, then have the boldness, and courage to stand up and speak to those spirits.

As a believer of God’s word, you can not live as one who is clueless and in sleep mode to the things that are around you. Your enemy Satan, would love nothing more than to catch you off guard so he can come in and scatter your life. I love what the Bible has to say about this.

1 Peter 5:8-14 reads, “Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up. You’re not the only ones plunged into these hard times. It’s the same with Christians all over the world. So keep a firm grip on the faith. The suffering won’t last forever. It won’t be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ – eternal and glorious plans they are! – will have you put together and on your feet for good. He gets the last word; yes, he does:”.

Sleeping in your life to me is an absence of a communion and fellowship with God, which is prayer, meditation and reading of God’s word(Bible). When you have those 3 components in your life, you can pick up in the spiritual realm when there is foul play in your atmosphere or when the spirit of darkness wants to gain access to your promises.

Ladies, I am going to need for you to be alert and awake! Your dreams, your purpose, your marriage and your family lineage are at stake.

I have seen so many things that have been snatch away from people all because they were sleeping in their life. I am reminded of a story in the Bible about a boy name David. He could have lost it all if he were sleeping in his life. He could have lost it all if he was not connected to God through prayer and fellowship. He would have lost it all if he lived his life in fear and intimidation. For time sake, I will give a very short version of the story. Read the full story in 1 Samuel 17, in the Holy Bible. David and Goliath

David, a handsome boy from Israel stood up to face the giant Goliath from the Philistines. Goliath was very huge, very intimidating and has never lost a fight. But none of the soldiers from the Israelite camp wanted to fight the giant, not even the king who’s name was Saul. They feared that Goliath would destroy them.

By the way, the Israelites were God chosen people. They had God on their side. All they had to do was fear not, and put their trust in him. In the past, God worked miracles, after miracles for them.

David was brave enough to face this giant because he did put his trust in God almighty. David was a shepherd boy. While looking after the sheep, he protected them from their predators. David killed a lion and ran off a bear with his sling shot. King Saul offered a reward to the man who kills Goliath. The reward would be wealth, his daughter in marriage, and exempt his family from taxes in Israel. When David heard this good news, he knew this could change the course of his life and his family.

Everyone around him, especially his brothers, thought he could not do it because they looked at his size and statue. King Saul doubted him as well. The Giant tried to intimidate him and cause him to run and draw back. David was not in fear. David knew what his God could do if he be willing to stand up to this Giant. Goliath made all kinds of threats to David. But David boldly proclaimed his God given rights to Goliath. David knew if he did not fight Goliath, it could effect the whole generation of the Israelites, It could have wiped out his lineage, purpose and promises.

David was fighting for his marriage, his finances, his purpose and his lineage. He was not going down without a fight. Others around him were afraid and was trying to evoke their fears on  the inside of him but he was not having it! Saul even gave David armor to protect himself from the giant but the armor did not fit him. David told Saul, “this armor do not fit me.” David said, God has given me my own weapons to defeat this Giant. David Won! He defeated, destroyed and killed his Giant. Now you go and do the same to to your giants.

Here are the 8 ways David slayed his giant?

  1. Relationship and communion with God (prayer)
  2. Knowing his covenant rights (confessions of God’s word, Bible)
  3. Confidence and trust in the living God
  4. Purpose or a reason to fight his giant
  5. Courage to stand up to the giant
  6. Boldness to face the giant
  7. A voice to speak back to the giant
  8. David did have a natural tool to wipe this giant out for good(sling shot). Now, I am not advocating using physical force, but there are times when you will have shut the door on somethings, remove yourself from some situations and disconnect from some places and people.

I would love to hear from you. Please feel free to leave a comment and subscribe to my blog!
